Abstract: An organometallic chemistry-based compound for preventing coke formation in a hydrocarbon fluid system. The organometallic chemistry-based compound includes a coordination complex that interrupts an autoxidative pathway of coke formation. A component and a system for mitigating coke formation during delivery or circulation of a hydrocarbon fluid. The component includes a contact surface configured to be in contact with the hydrocarbon fluid. The contact surface is functionalized with an inhibitor ligand to form an inhibitor ligand-functionalized surface. The inhibitor ligand-functionalized surface interrupts an autoxidative pathway of coke formation.

Abstract: A hydrocarbon fluid system including a hydrocarbon fluid conduit and an oxygen gettering assembly. The hydrocarbon fluid conduit has a fluid passage through which hydrocarbon fluid flows. The hydrocarbon fluid includes oxygen and has an oxygen content. The oxygen gettering assembly is disposed relative to the hydrocarbon fluid conduit such that an oxygen getter comes into contact with the hydrocarbon fluid as the hydrocarbon fluid flows through the fluid passage to reduce the oxygen content of the hydrocarbon fluid. The oxygen gettering assembly may be a part of a deoxygenation system that also includes a sparging system. The hydrocarbon fluid may be a fuel used in a gas turbine engine.

Abstract: A mixer assembly for a gas turbine engine. The mixer assembly includes a housing and a fuel injection port. The housing has a passage formed therein, and the housing includes a passage wall facing the passage. The fuel injection port is fluidly connected to a fuel source and is configured to inject a hydrocarbon fuel into the passage. At least a portion of the passage wall is a coated passage wall.
