    摘要: A printing unit has at least one press unit having a plate cylinder with at least one printing plate that can be mounted on the plate cylinder and which carries a printing image. The plate cylinder has at least one cylinder channel in which ends of the printing plate can be fixed or positioned. The printing plate has a leading angled end and also has a trailing angled end, as viewed in the direction of rotation of the printing cylinder during operation of the printing press. The printing plate can be secured to the plate cylinder by insertion of the plate leading end into the cylinder channel and by insertion of the plate trailing end into the same, or another cylinder channel. Initially, the plate trailing end is fixed in its associated cylinder channel and the plate cylinder is rotated in a rotational direction counter to a production direction. The leading plate end is then fixed in its associated cylinder channel during continued rotation of the plate cylinder opposite to a production direction. Once the printing plate is secured, the printing cylinder is rotated in its production direction.

    摘要: A drive unit is provided for a rotating component of a printing press, which rotating component is disposed between spaced lateral frames. A bearing assembly supports the rotatable component so that it is movable in a direction of movement which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rotatable component. A journal of the rotatable component does not penetrate an alignment of the lateral frame in its mounted orientation. The rotatable component is rotatably driven by an independent drive motor. A rotor of the drive motor is joined to the journal of the rotatable component in a torsion-proof, detachable configuration. A bearing assembly for the journal is provided with a movable bearing block that receives the journal of the rotatable component, and which is located on an interior portion of the bearing assembly, relative to the plane of the lateral frame. A stator of the driving motor is rigidly, and removably connected to the movable bearing block.

    摘要: A printing group of a printing press is comprised, at leasdt, of a transfer cylinder, a forme cylinder and of a first roller ink form roller of an inking unit which cooperates with the forme cylinder as an ink application roller. the first ink form roller has substantially the same duameter as the forme cylinder. Axes of rotation of the forme cylinder and of the transfer cylinder define a plane when these cylinders are in their operating postion. A plane that is defined by axes of rotation of the first roller and the forme cylinder forms an angle of no greater then 45° with respect to the forme cylinder/transfer cylinder plane. At least one of the forme cylinder and the transfer cylinder is mounted sa as to be adjustable, by the use of at least on actuator, in the direction of the transfer cylinder, with the aid of at least a first actuator that is assigned exclusively to the forme cylinder or to the transfer cylinder and that is actuated by a pressure medium. The first roller is mounted for movement, in the direction of the transfer cylinder, by an actuator assigned only to that first roller. A second, which cooperates with the first roller, is postioned below the forme cylinder/transfer cyinder axis of rotation defining plane.
