摘要： An arrangement for testing a fire suppression sprinkler system includes a conduit for supplying a flow of fire suppression fluid to at least one sprinkler. A sensor is configured to sense the flow of the fire suppression fluid to the at least one sprinkler. The sensor has a first condition indicative of a predetermined volume of flow of the suppression fluid to the at least one sprinkler and a second condition indicative of a volume of flow of the fire suppression fluid to the at least one sprinkler less than the predetermined volume of flow. An actuator causes the sensor to be in the first condition or the second condition. A signaler provides an indication to a user that the sensor is in at least one of the first condition and the second condition.

A drain valve controls the flow of the fire suppression fluid so that when the fire suppression system is tested the fire suppression fluid is controlled to enter the drain conduit. A fire suppression fluid collection tank collects the fire suppression fluid which has entered the drain conduit for reintroducing the collected fire suppression fluid to the supply conduit. A circulation valve controls the flow of the fire suppression fluid so that when the fire suppression system is tested the fire suppression fluid enters the fire suppression fluid collection tank.

The selective rotation of the valve member interrupts a flow of water through the valve and permits a flow at two different preselected flow rates. The valve may be constructed so as to permit its use in either of two orientations with respect to inlet and outlet openings of the apparatus. A sight glass arrangement may be provided in which two sight glasses are offset from one another by 90 degrees and are arranged in the arrangement in a manner permitting the easy visual observation of flow therepast.

摘要： An adjustable sprinkler head positioning assembly is disclosed that includes a first conduit member and a second conduit member that are selectively positionable relative to each other and to a drop line fitting so as to position a sprinkler head at a desired location. The first and second conduit members each have an inlet portion and an outlet portion that are offset relative to each other by a predetermined distance. The sprinkler head is positionable anywhere within a circle having a radius equal to the sum of the offsetting distances between the inlet and outlet portions of each conduit member. Elbow couplings further increase versatility. The elbow couplings may have an inlet positioned at a 45.degree. angle or a 90.degree. angle relative to an outlet.A drop line fitting is weldable to a sprinkler drop line and includes a socket for receiving sprinkler system plumbing such as the first and second conduit members.A drop line fitting is releasably secured to a sprinkler pipeline and includes either a socket for receiving sprinkler system plumbing such as the first conduit member or includes a portion having a smooth outer circumferential surface to be received by a socket of sprinkler system plumbing such as the first conduit member.
