摘要: An irrigation sprinkler includes a main valve mounted in the lower end of an outer housing for controlling the flow of water through an inlet of the outer housing. A pilot valve is operatively coupled to the main valve for turning the main valve ON and OFF. A solenoid is operatively coupled to the pilot valve for opening and closing the pilot valve. A service valve is operatively coupled between the main valve and the pilot valve. The service valve is manually actuable from an AUTO state to allow normal operation of the sprinkler and to an OFF state to allow repair or replacement of the pilot valve or solenoid without having to manually shut OFF a supply valve that is coupled to the inlet of the outer housing through a supply pipe.

摘要: An irrigation system comprises sprinkler heads with an electrically configurable spray pattern, moisture sensors, and a controller. Based upon input signals from the moisture sensors, the controller dynamically configures the spray pattern of the sprinkler head to allow more water to fall on areas that need to be watered and less water to fall on areas that do not require additional water. The irrigation system can additionally comprise fire sensors. Based upon input from the fire sensors, the controller activates the sprinklers.

摘要: An automated irrigation and chemical treatment system comprising a user input device adapted to communicate with a control unit; a mixing chamber adapted to communicate with the control unit and connected to a water supply and chemical canisters, wherein each canister has a sensor to monitor fluid level therein, and control valves for connecting the mixing chamber to a network of pipes. Sprinkler heads connected to the network of pipes each include, a control valve adapted to control fluid flow to a water delivery nozzle by an electro magnet controlled rubber coated ferric ball closure member. The sprinkler heads include water and chemical saturation sensors and the sprinkler heads also communicate with the control unit via wireless transceivers. Multiple zones covered by the system may be treated according to predetermined schedules.

摘要: A device for delivering a controlled dose of a fluid to an outlet from a fluid supply at an operating pressure which includes an actively operable check valve and pressure exerting means to selectively exert first and second pressures on the check valve. When one of the first and second pressures is exerted on the check valve, the valve prevents the passage of fluid at operating pressure through the outlet. When the other pressure is exerted on the check valve, the valve permits the passage of spray fluid at operating pressure. Signal generating means to generate a control signal characteristic of the fluid operating pressure, and control means derive at least one of the said first and second pressures from the control signal.

摘要: A housing defines a sealed interior cavity to provide buoyancy for floating the housing in water. A battery housing secured to the buoyant housing supports a rechargeable battery and maintains the vertical alignment of the buoyant housing. An upper plate on the buoyant housing supports a plurality of upwardly directed lights and fountain nozzles together with a plurality of manually actuatible switches. An internal battery-powered pump mechanism is operative within the buoyant housing to draw water into the buoyant housing and force it upwardly through the fountain nozzles to produce vertically directed fountain sprays. The fountain sprays may be illuminated by the light assemblies supported by the upper plate. A remote control receiver and control circuit is supported within the buoyant housing and receives operative control signals from a handheld remote control unit. A rotation valve is operatively coupled to the pump output and provides an optional laterally directed water spray component tending to rotate the entire fountain unit. The water spray height of the fountain sprays may be adjusted by a bypass valve supported within the buoyant housing. In an alternate embodiment, a tether and anchor are securable to the unit to fix its position within a swimming pool. In a still further alternate embodiment, an annular spacer ring is securable to the buoyant housing by a collar and plurality of spokes.

摘要: A liquid suspension distribution system is provided which is essentially a conventional center pivot irrigation system, but which has the innermost sprinkler guns sequenced by way of a programmable logic control. The innermost sprinkler guns are sequenced on and off by the programmable logic controller so that an even distribution of the liquid manure or the like is achieved on the field.

摘要: An irrigation system for controlling the operation of a number of control valves each of which controls the flow of water in a corresponding branch pipe leading from a common supply pipe. The system comprises a pair of control lines which extend along the supply pipe and branch pipes to carry a control signal to operate a control unit which operates a corresponding control valve using a low voltage power supply. The control signal is coded by a data generator according to predetermined conditions and is decoded by each of the control units, the coded signal being received at each control unit, and the specified control unit operating only.

摘要: A known system for controlling a plurality of stations, such as irrigating sprinkler valves, over a conductor pair for either selective or sequential activation includes a solenoid as the device to be activated at each station and requires short interruptions in the operating voltage at a control point to effect sequential activation of the stations, but for selective activation this same system utilizes two different voltage levels with short interruptions, a lower voltage being required to bypass unwanted stations and higher voltage built up at a controlled rate being required for selective activation of a station. An improvement in the known system includes delay means in association with the solenoids at the stations for delaying the response of the solenoids thereby simplifying the equipment the control point by permitting the use of only one voltage level, while avoiding activation of unselected stations.

摘要: A fluid distribution system is shown which includes a plurality of electrically actuated valves. Each valve is associated with a selectively activated switching device responsive to a particular control signal of preselected frequency. A band-pass filter is connected between each switching device and a source of control signals having differing frequencies and preselected durations for activating the switching devices. The source of control signals may be a source of prerecorded signals, such as a replacable cassette, or a preprogrammed oscillator arrangement.
