The battery includes at least one electrochemical cell having an internal bore, a voltage converter module electrically coupled to the at least one electrochemical cell and disposed within a portion of the internal bore, the voltage converter configured to convert a first voltage produced by the at least one electrochemical cell into a second, different voltage, a set of terminals being electrically coupled to the voltage converter, and a bypass circuit coupled between one of the terminals of the set of terminals and the at least one electrochemical cell to direct charging current applied from an external source to the at least one electrochemical cell.

摘要： The invention is directed to a blood pressure monitoring device comprising a central parts mounting module and to a method of manufacturing this parts mounting module. According to the invention fluid channels are produced by gas injection into the interior of the parts mounting module, the walls bounding the fluid channels being completely formed by the material of the parts mounting module. The injection of gas continues for as long as a core of the parts mounting module is still in the liquid phase in the area of the fluid channel, whilst an outer area surrounding the core has already solidified, so that the pressure fluid expels the liquid core area, producing a tubular fluid channel.

摘要： A device and method for managing, archiving and/or evaluating blood pressure data of a plurality of patients. The blood pressure data is acquired using blood pressure monitors. The blood pressure data for each patient is separately stored in an individual storage space in a central data server. A network connection including at least one network terminal is used to input the data into the individual storage space and read out the data from the individual storage space. A control device controls access to the storage spaces by comparing a transmitted access code including a unique device identification code for the blood pressure monitor of the patient corresponding to the individual storage space with a unique access code corresponding to the individual storage space.
