Abstract: A device and system for releasably securing a watchband to a watch casing. Specifically, a watchband connector pin is formed of a shape memory material, preferably a shape memory alloy. The watchband may be readily released and reattached from a watch casing to facilitate repairs of the watch, for aesthetic considerations, or when the watch band is damaged or worn. The connector pin is durable due to the one piece design, easy to operate, flexible, and economical to produce.

Abstract: A dental tool for retracting gingival tissue is provided that includes a shaft and a working end member, the working end member having an operative end including a first portion sufficiently narrow to retract tissue from a groove of a tooth and a second portion, adjacent the first portion, and being sufficiently wide to retract tissue from an area of the tooth adjacent the groove. Abstract: A disposable orthodontic bracket pad. The bracket pad comprises a top and a bottom sheet, wherein the top sheet is made of an inexpensive liquid-impermeable material and has a plurality of openings defining bracket staging areas, and a bottom sheet made of an inexpensive material having one side coated with an adhesive material. The bracket staging areas are preferably arranged in the shape of an arch to mimic the arrangement of teeth and facilitate bracket identification. The bottom sheet is adhered to the top sheet via said adhesive materials, forming a bracket pad having adhesive bracket staging areas. The bracket pad is preferably less than 1/8 of an inch in thickness.
