    摘要： A coffee beverage system is described including a coffee bean packaging cartridge and a coffee brewing apparatus. The packaging cartridge includes a container holding coffee beans and transportation component for transporting coffee beans towards an exit opening of the cartridge. The coffee apparatus comprises a grinder for grinding the coffee beans from the cartridge and a brewing device for brewing coffee from ground coffee obtained by the grinder. A metering chamber holds a predetermined amount of coffee beans and comprises a bottom portion which forms a part of the grinder, said bottom portion rotates around an axis extending in a vertical direction. A second coffee bean packaging cartridge includes a second dosing device separate from the first dosing device for preparing and/or supplying a dose of coffee beans to the entrance opening of the coffee brewing apparatus independent of the coffee brewing apparatus.

    摘要： A form-retaining pad for preparing a beverage suitable for consumption includes a first covering and a form-providing stiffening body, and a substance which is soluble in a liquid. The covering includes a top sheet and a bottom sheet that are manufactured from a material non-transmissive to the soluble substance, but transmissive to the substance dissolved in a liquid. The form-providing stiffening body is between the top sheet and the bottom sheet. The stiffening body has a compartmenting wall configuration having a grid structure which is transmissive to liquid from the top side to the bottom side. At least a part of the soluble substance is accommodated in the grid structure, and each compartment is surrounded by the wall configuration, the top sheet and the bottom sheet. At least the bottom side of the stiffening body includes a bulging part extending away from the top sheet.

The first and the second beverage parts are combined for obtaining the beverage.
