摘要:
A process for the production of pig iron from fine ore is described, in which initially the fine ore undergoes prereduction to a degree of metallization of preferably 65 to 75%. The sponge iron obtained is then melted down and under goes a final reduction. This process takes place in a melting cyclone 2, to which the sponge iron is supplied by means of a central opening 1 and into which are tangetially blown via a lateral opening 3 a carbon carrier, an oxygen-containing gas and optionally fluxes. As a result of the angular momentum produced, the sponge iron particles are deflected to the side and melted and finally reduced by the combustion gases of the carbon carrier. The molten iron collects in an iron bath 8. The gas produced in the melting cyclone is cooled from approximately 1500.degree. C. to approximately 800.degree. C. in a waste heat system 10, as well as by admixing cooling gas supplied via a line 11 and is then used for the prereduction of the iron ore.

A process and an arrangement for the production of molten pig iron or steel pre-products from particulate ferrous material as well as for the production of reducing gas in a meltdown gasifier. A fluidized bed of coke particles is formed by the addition of coal and the injection of oxygen-containing gas. In order to ensure a satisfactory mode of operation of the meltdown gasifier even if coal of inferior quality with a high moisture content and a high portion of volatile matter is used, additional heat is supplied to the meltdown gasifier above the feed lines for the fluidized-bed-forming oxygen-containing gas by burning and/or degassing coal particles separated from the reducing gas.

To gain electric energy in addition to producing molten pig iron, from lumpy iron ore and solid fuels, by using a direct reduction zone for the reduction of the iron ore to sponge iron and a meltdown-gasifying zone for the production of molten pig iron, carbon carriers are used in, and oxygen-containing gases are supplied to, the meltdown-gasifying zone. The reduction gas forming is fed into the direct reduction zone. The reduction gas reacted there is supplied as top gas to a power generation plant including a turbine. In order to adapt the power generation to the power consumption by simultaneously avoiding any influence on the metallurgical conditions at the production of pig iron and its further processing, the charge of carbon carriers into the meltdown-gasifying zone is varied as a function of the gas consumption of the power generation plant in a manner that, with a higher gas consumption, the volatile constituents of the charge are increased and the C.sub.fix charge is reduced and, with a lower gas consumption, it is proceeded the other way round, while keeping the amount and composition of the pig iron produced substantially constant.

A novel process for producing molten pig iron or steel raw material is described. The pig iron is initially at least partly reduced to sponge iron by means of a reducing gas and is then melted in a melting gasifier, being optionally finally reduced. Apart from the sponge iron, the melting gasifier is supplied with coal at least partly degassed by a hot gas and oxygen-containing gas. The hot gas used for this purpose is formed from the gas produced during degassing and a supplied, oxygen-containing gas. The latter is preferably constituted by air, which can be preheated by the gas produced during degassing.

A novel melting gasifier (7) is disclosed, in which material at least largely comprising metal is melted in a fluidized bed. The latter is maintained by oxygen-containing gas laterally injected through approximately equidistant nozzles in the lower part of the melting gasifier. A carbon carrier and from above the material to be melted are also introduced into the melting gasifier. Over at least part of the fluidized bed height, the gasifier has a horizontal cross-section, which has different dimensions in two directions perpendicular to one another. The nozzles can project by different amounts into the gasifier vessel.

In the case of an arrangement comprising a gasifier and a direct reduction shaft furnace positioned above it and which is connected to the gasifier by a connecting shaft, the direct introduction of the reduction gas obtained in the gasifier, even in the case of a high dust proportion, is made possible in that the sponge iron particles are discharged through several radially positioned screw conveyors and the reduction gas is fed to an annular zone formed above the screw conveyors.

A process for producing gas containing CO and H.sub.2 from pulverulent to coarse-grained coal in a coal gasifier in which a fluidized bed is produced, and to which are supplied coal, oxygen and/or one or more oxygen-containing gases. The coal is supplied in counter-current to the gas removed from the fluidized bed. Thus, the coal is dried, degassed and preheated before it enters the fluidized bed. The upper limit of the particle size of the coal is between about 10 mm and 40 mm, and is determined by the volatile matter content of the coal.

A process for producing molten pig iron or steel raw material in which iron oxide-containing, preferably pre-reduced raw material particles are introduced from above into a fluidized bed formed from carbonaceous solid particles and an oxygen-containing carrier gas. When the fluidized bed passes through in countercurrent to the carrier gas, the solid particles are heated, reduced and melted. The fluidized bed receives additional energy through plasma heating, in such a way that the plasma energy is supplied level with the entry of the oxygen-containing carrier gas into the fluidized bed.

A process for the production of pig iron from iron ore is disclosed. The pig iron is firstly converted to sponge iron in a direct reduction shaft furnace (1) and then the sponge iron is converted to pig iron in a melt-down gasifier (2). The shaft furnace and melt-down gasifier are interconnected by means of downcomers (6). Apart from the sponge iron, the melt-down gasifier is supplied with a carbon carrier in the form of coke and oxygen-containing gas. The gas produced in the melt-down gasifier is supplied to the shaft furnace (1) in the form of reduction gas via downcomers (6), pipe (8), cyclone separator (12) and pipe (4). By means of pipes (10 and 11), cooled, cleaned blast furnace gas from shaft furnace (1) is admixed as cooling gas with the gas produced in the melt-down gasifier. With the aid of a screen (15), the melt-down gasifier is supplied with the fine fraction via pipe (7) and the shaft furnace is supplied via pipe (16) with the coarse fraction of the coke required for the operation of the plant. The coke introduced into the shaft furnace passes through the same and then enters the melt-down gasifier in preheated, dried form. The coke in the shaft furnace also leads to a reduction of CO.sub.2 and H.sub.2 O to CO and H.sub.2 and also reduces the sticking tendency of the sponge iron.
