    摘要: A method and system for reducing or eliminating artifacts that may occur during color reduction of images. A bias is added to a data structure that is arranged to store counts of pixel colors of an image. Counts of pixel colors of the image are added to the data structure. Via the data structure, colors from the image are grouped into buckets until the number of buckets is less than or equal to a number of colors in a palette. Then, colors of pixels in the image are mapped to colors in the palette.

    摘要: A method and system are provided for allowing a user to manage captured images automatically. The method includes establishing a connection between a computing device and an image capturing device and defining a set of rules pertaining to an image using the computing device. The method additionally includes transferring captured images from the image capturing device to the computing device. The set of rules governs actions performed after acquisition of each image. In order to manage the captured images, the receiving computing device interprets the associated rules. The method additionally includes managing the captured image in accordance with the associated image rule. The system includes the tools necessary to execute the aforementioned method.

    摘要: A system and method for color management are disclosed. The system may include stored color palettes and a structured color picker for selecting color choices from the color palettes. The structured color picker may include a set of colorist theory rules for facilitating selection of harmonious colors from the color palettes. A user may input an image having a preferred color combination in order to create a desirable color palette. A user interface wizard may also be provided for allowing user to select a color palette or particular colors within the color palette. The color picker may expose the harmonious colors to the user through the user interface wizard. Furthermore, the color management system enables adjustment of selected colors based on user color deficiency.

As the user repeatedly searches, the user's terminology may be associated with particular search keywords. A relevance factor may be computed using the database for future searches.
