    摘要: A coupling assembly includes a first coupling member having a first exterior surface and a second exterior surface spaced from the first exterior surface by a rib having a first locking surface. A second coupling member includes an inwardly facing surface sized to receive the first coupling member and an inwardly facing annular groove having a second locking surface. The groove is configured to reduce stress risers in the second coupling member. A resiliently expandable locking ring is received in the inwardly facing annular groove and is engaged and expanded to a larger radial size by the rib upon movement of the first coupling member further into the second coupling member. The resiliently expandable locking ring is configured to retract in diametrical size to become trapped between the first locking surface and the second locking surface upon further movement of the first coupling member into the second coupling member.

    摘要: A foldable splint and method of use is provided. The foldable splint includes a main body divided into a plurality of panels and segments by a grid of living hinges. Each panel includes opposed first and second outer segments and a plurality of inner segments extending therebetween. By folding the main body along segment hinges, the splint is moved to a first rigid configuration for securing an appendage in a straight configuration. By further folding the splint at opposed pinch locations, the splint is moved to a second rigid configuration for securing an appendage in a bent configuration. By folding the splint along panel hinges, the splint is moved to a third rigid configuration for securing around an abdomen or pelvis of a user. When not in use, the splint can be moved back to the stowable configuration by folding the various panels over each other.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an ergonomically shaped kettlebell apparatus that saves the user's hands and wrists from common injuries that occur during kettlebell workouts. The kettlebell includes one or more handle cutouts and an angled backside. The handle cutouts are shaped to reduce the heavy friction that kettlebells apply to the user's hands, especially the outside of the pinky fingers during a two handed kettlebell swing, which typically causes friction hotspots. The angled backside shaves down between approximately a quarter of an inch to two inches off the back half of the kettlebell, such that it is shaped to reduce the stress and impact placed on the back of the user's wrist and forearm during a kettlebell flipping motion such as a one handed kettlebell snatch or when the kettlebell is held in an upright position, which typically causes wrist and forearm injuries.
