    摘要: Provided is a pentaaryldiamine-containing bismaleimide compound of Formula (I): wherein Ar1 to Ar5 are independently C6-C12 aryl; and Ar4 and Ar5 are optionally substituted by one or more substitutent(s) selected from the group consisting of C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy, and cyano. The compound of Formula (I) is obtained by a method including the steps of reacting a diamine with maleic anhydride in a solvent to form an amic acid, and cyclodehydrating the amic acid in the presence of a catalyst and a dehydrating agent. The compound of Formula (I) has a nonlinear and asymmetric structure, is amorphous, and is readily soluble in a variety of organic solvents so that the toughness of the product made there from can be improved and processing of the compound can be simplified.

    摘要: Disclosed is a wholly aromatic polyamide prepared by reacting 1,4-naphthyl or 2,6-naphthyl containing diacids with aromatic diamines. The polymers of the invention are readily soluble in a variety of organic solvents including DMAc, NMP and pyridine, and have good thermal stability. Transparent, tough and flexible films of these polymers can be cast from the solutions thereof and these polyamides are easily processable high-performance polymer materials.

    摘要: New aromatic dicarboxylic acids, 1,4- or 2,6-Bis(p-carboxyphenoxy)naphthyl is prepared by the reaction of p-fluorobenzonitrile with 1,4-naphthalenediol, followed by hydrolysis. Wholly aromatic polyamides having superior solubility in a variety of organic solvents and have good thermal stability can be obtained by reacting the new aromatic dicarboxylic acids with aromatic diamines. Transparent, tough and flexible films of these polyamides can be cast from the solutions thereof and these polyamides are easily processable high-performance polymer materials.
