摘要： An inkjet image forming apparatus includes a main body frame, a medium supplying unit which is coupled to the main body frame and supplying a print medium, an image forming cartridge which is coupled to the main body frame, forms an image on the supplied print medium, and including a nozzle to eject ink, and a wiping assembly which wipes the nozzle. The wiping assembly includes a wiping sheet storage unit in which the wiping sheet is stored as being wound, a transfer shuttle which moves along arrangement of the nozzle by a driving force of a driving source, a pressing member which is provided in the transfer shuttle and presses a region of the wiping sheet against the nozzle to perform wiping using the wiping sheet, and a wiping sheet support unit which is provided in the transfer shuttle and restricts move of the wiping sheet while the nozzle is wiped.

The scrapping unit cleans a polluted member disposed in an image forming apparatus and stained by a polluting material. The scrapping unit may include an endless belt to circulate between an exposed position where a surface of the endless belt is exposed toward the polluted member, and a non-exposed position where the surface of the endless belt is not exposed with respect to the polluted member, and a belt support frame which includes a belt support surface to support the endless belt so that the endless belt can be unfolded in the exposed position, and a storing space to store the endless belt so that the endless belt can be folded in the non-exposed position.

摘要： An ink cartridge assembly and an inkjet image forming apparatus having the same include a first ink cartridge and a second ink cartridge. The first ink cartridge has a shuttle type printhead to eject ink to form an image on a printing medium while reciprocating to the width direction of the printing medium at a printing position, and the second ink cartridge has an array type printhead to eject ink to form the image on the printing medium at the printing position in a stationary state. The first and second ink cartridges share the printing position. When the second ink cartridge is positioned on the printing position, the first ink cartridge is positioned at the first escape position and when the first ink cartridge is positioned on the printing position, the second ink cartridge is positioned at the second escape position away from the printing position and the first escape position.

摘要： A pump for an inkjet printer applying a negative pressure to an inkjet head nozzle, includes: a tube connected to the inkjet head nozzle and being U-shaped; a plurality of rollers which contact an inner arch of the tube and having a tapered shape; and a rotor to which the plurality of rollers are rotatably mounted. When the rotor rotates in a direction, at least one of the plurality of rollers rotate and squeeze the tube. When the rotor stops rotating, the plurality of rollers return to a state in which the plurality of rollers do not squeeze the tube due to a recovering force of the tube. The squeezing of the tube generates the negative pressure in the inkjet head nozzle.

摘要： An apparatus for and method of preventing paper double feeding in a paper feeding unit of a printer include a stripper which is installed to be inclined at a predetermined angle and attached to at least one front side of a plurality of paper guides, a lever which is installed at a rear side of the stripper and has a contact surface with paper transferred by a pickup roller, and a lever shaking unit which shakes the lever so that the contact surface intermittently contacts a back side of the paper transferred by the pickup roller. The method includes applying a first paper feeding resistance force to a first sheet of paper which is picked-up by the pickup roller and transferred into the printer, and intermittently applying a second paper feeding resistance to a rear side of a second sheet of paper.
