    摘要: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate communication by supplying an immediate re-send of an assignment, when such assignment is not decoded by an access node (“AN”). In one embodiment, the assignment to AT can be re-sent immediately, hence mitigating a requirement for the AT to indicate that “Yes” the assignment was received, or “No” that the assignment was not received. Accordingly, if the AN does not decode the assignment, the assignment is re-sent, and a request latency can be removed.

    摘要: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate generating and/or utilizing explicit and implicit feedback related to a forward link channel for linear precoding in a time division duplex (TDD) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system. Implicit feedback may be provided by estimating a reverse link channel, which may be substantially similar to at least a portion of the forward link channel (e.g., based upon reciprocity). Moreover, explicit feedback may be yielded by quantizing at least part of an estimate of the forward link channel (e.g., utilizing vector and/or scalar quantization).

    摘要: Techniques for sending and receiving signaling messages in a control segment are described. The control segment may be sent with CDM in multiple OFDM symbols. At a receiver, a received sequence is obtained for the control segment. A time-domain signaling sequence is generated based on a signaling message hypothesized to have been sent in the control segment. A correlating sequence is generated based on the signaling sequence. In one design, the signaling sequence is partitioned into multiple sub-sequences, one sub-sequence for each symbol period in which the control segment was sent. Each sub-sequence is cyclically shifted by an amount determined by a channel tap delay. The correlating sequence is then formed by concatenating all of the cyclically shifted sub-sequences. The correlating sequence may also be generated in other manners. The received sequence is correlated with the correlating sequence to determine whether the signaling message was sent in the control segment.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for serving sector maintenance in a wireless communication system is described. A forward link serving sector (FLSS) change command (ChangeFLSS) is received and it is determined if a FLSS in the ChangeFLSS command is a member of a NonSynchronousSubset. If the determination is positive, a reverse link serving sector (RLSS) and a dedicated RLSS (DRLSS) in the public data may be updated to be equal to the FLSS in the ChangeFLSS command, and indications that the RLSS and the DRLSS have changed may be issued. Otherwise, the FLSS and a dedicated FLSS (DFLSS) in the public data may be updated to be equal to the FUSS in the ChangeFLSS command, and indications that the FUSS and the DFLSS have changed may be issued.
