摘要： A quantum simulator includes a pseudo speckle pattern generator, a main vacuum chamber, an atomic gas supply unit, a light beam generator, a photodetector, and an atom number detector. The pseudo speckle pattern generator generates a pseudo speckle pattern in the inside of the main vacuum chamber by light allowed to enter the inside of the main vacuum chamber through the second window. The pseudo speckle pattern generator includes a controller, a light source, a beam expander, a spatial light modulator, and a lens. The controller sets a modulation distribution of the spatial light modulator based on a two-dimensional pseudo random number pattern.

摘要： An SLM includes a modulation unit and a driving circuit. The modulation unit includes a plurality of pixels, and modulates a phase or an intensity of incident light in each pixel according to an amplitude of a drive signal changing periodically with time. The driving circuit provides the drive signal to the modulation unit. The driving circuit performs control such that a phase of the drive signal V1(t) provided to a first pixel group in the plurality of pixels and a phase of the drive signal V2(t) provided to a second pixel group in the plurality of pixels are mutually inverted.

摘要： A light irradiation device includes a Gaussian beam output unit for outputting light having a light intensity distribution that conforms to a Gaussian distribution, a spatial light modulator for receiving the light and modulating the light by presenting a CGH, an optical system for converging the modulated light, and an amplitude mask arranged on at least one of an optical axis between the Gaussian beam output unit and the spatial light modulator and an optical axis between the spatial light modulator and the optical system. The amplitude mask has a circular-shaped first region centered on the optical axis and an annular-shaped second region that surrounds the first region. Transmittance in the second region continuously decreases as a distance from the optical axis increases.
