    Abstract: Electronic port includes a receptacle and a locking assembly having a clamping module and a fastener. The receptacle includes first, and second retainer members being configured to releasably hold a connector of an electronic plug. The clamping module includes a first clamp member having first engagement members, and a second clamp member movably coupled to the first clamp member and having second engagement members, the first and second engagement members are aligned with the first and second retainer members. The fastener is movably coupled to the clamping module to transition the clamping module between fastened and unfastened states by moving the first and/or second clamp members relative to the receptacle. In the unfastened state, the first and second retainer members are allowed to release the connector, and in the fastened state, the first and second engagement members engage the first and second retainer members and prevent from releasing the connector.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield may include a frame configured to be coupled to a printed circuit board (PCB). The frame may include a horizontal body and a plurality of vertical walls extending perpendicularly from the horizontal body. The plurality of vertical walls defines a portion of a perimeter of the EMI shield, the perimeter including a concave corner defined virtually by a first and second vertical wall of the plurality of vertical walls. The first vertical wall does not extend all the way to the second wall and an opening if formed between. The first vertical wall includes an attached portion connected to the horizontal frame and an extension portion connected to the attached portion by way of a first fold. The extension portion at least partially overlays, abuts, and extends beyond the attached portion toward the second wall thereby at least partially covering the opening.

    Abstract: In embodiments of the present disclosure, a method is provided for managing a communication channel between a first communication unit and a second communication unit in an AP. At the first communication unit, a request is transmitted to the second communication unit for reserving a communication channel. Here, the second communication unit is associated with a Wi-Fi network that is different from a network type associated with the first communication unit, and the first and second communication units share a band of the communication channel. A response for reserving the communication channel is received from the second communication unit. In accordance with a determination that the response indicates the communication channel has been reserved for a time duration, data is transmitted at the first communication unit within the time duration on the communication channel. Therefore, conflicts between the first and second communication units in the AP may be reduced.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to automatic antenna beam alignment. A method comprises determining first position-related information indicating a first location and a first orientation of a first communication device. The first communication device comprises a plurality of antenna sectors configured for generating respective directional beams. The method also comprises receiving, from a second communication device, second position-related information indicating a second location and a second orientation of the second communication device. The method also further comprises selecting a subset of the plurality of antenna sectors based on the first and the second position-related information; and causing the first communication device to perform beamforming training with the second communication device using the selected subset of antenna sectors. A decreased number of antenna sectors are scanned during the beamforming training, which can reduce the time overhead and facilitate the devices to find the best beam efficiently.

    Abstract: A ceiling mount comprises a mounting plate to be coupled to an electronic device and two clips to be mounted to a ceiling rail.
