Abstract: The present disclosure describes multi-fluid kits for three-dimensional printing, three-dimensional printing kits, and methods of three-dimensional printing. In one example, a multi-fluid kit for three-dimensional printing can include a fusing agent and a ductility agent. The fusing agent can include water and electromagnetic radiation absorber. The electromagnetic radiation absorber can absorb radiation energy and convert the radiation energy to heat. The ductility agent can include water, a water-soluble pore-generating compound that chemically reacts at an elevated temperature to generate a gas, and a plasticizer. The plasticizer can have formula (I) wherein n is an integer ranging from 3 to 8; or formula (II) wherein m is an integer ranging from 3 to 8.

Abstract: In an example of a method for three-dimensional (3D) printing, a polymeric build material is applied to form a build material layer. A fusing agent is selectively applied, based on a 3D object model, onto the build material layer to form a patterned portion. A hydrophilic agent is selectively applied, based on the 3D object model, onto at least a portion of the patterned portion. The hydrophilic agent includes from 1 wt % to 12 wt % of a hydrophilic polymer dissolved in an aqueous liquid vehicle, wherein the hydrophilic polymer has a molar mass ranging from 1000 g/mol to 12,000 g/mol and is water-absorbent at a water to hydrophilic polymer weight ratio from 2:1 to 1000:1. The build material layer is exposed to energy to selectively coalesce the patterned portion and form a 3D object layer having a hydrophilic portion.

Abstract: A three-dimensional printing kit can include a build material, a fusing agent, and a flame retardant. The build material can include polyamide particles. The flame retardant can include 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide. The flame retardant can be included at from about 5 wt % to about 30 wt % in the fusing agent, at from about 5 wt % to about 30 wt % in a flame retardant agent if present that is separate from the fusing agent, or at from about 5 wt % to about 30 wt % in the fusing agent and from about 5 wt % to about 30 wt % in the flame retardant agent.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods of three-dimensional printing, including iteratively applying individual build material layers of polymer particles having a D50 particle size from about 20 μm to about 150 μm to a build material, and based on a three-dimensional object model, selectively applying a fusing agent onto the individual build material layers to form individually patterned object layers of the three-dimensional object and selectively applying a pore-promoting agent onto the individual build material layers at a discrete location of the individually patterned object layers to form a pore-generating region therein. The method also includes exposing the build material to electromagnetic energy to provide selective heat fusing of the polymer particles and to generate and displace molten polymer leaving a localized void having a void size from about 1 mm to about 20 mm.
