摘要: A patient monitoring system includes a first imager configured to capture first image data of a target area within a first field of view. A second imager is configured to capture second image data of the target area within a second field of view. An emitter is configured to emit light within a predetermined wavelength range. A controller is configured to determine a facial region of a person in the first image data, determine a region of interest in the second image data that coincides with the facial region in the first image data, calculate a pixel value within the region of interest, adjust at least one of the emitter and the second imager is the pixel value is outside a predetermined pixel value range, and determine vital signs information from at least one of the first image data and the second image data.

摘要: An example method includes receiving a 2D image of a 3D space from an optical camera, identifying, in the 2D image. A virtual image generated by an optical instrument refracting and/or reflecting the light is identified. The example method further includes identifying, in the 2D image, a first object depicting a subject disposed in the 3D space from a first direction extending from the optical camera to the subject and identifying, in the virtual image, a second object depicting the subject disposed in the 3D space from a second direction extending from the optical camera to the subject via the optical instrument, the second direction being different than the first direction. A 3D image depicting the subject based on the first object and the second object is generated. Alternatively, a location of the subject in the 3D space is determined based on the first object and the second object.

摘要: A method for monitoring a patient in a bed may involve capturing images of the patient with multiple cameras in a vicinity of the bed, wirelessly transmitting the images of the patient from the multiple cameras to a processor including a memory device, processing the images to provide processed image data pertaining to a position of the patient relative to the bed to a user, and analyzing the processed image data to determine whether the patient is exiting the bed. The method may also optionally involve providing an alarm indicating that the patient is exiting the bed.

摘要: A monitoring system that includes an infrared detector comprising a field of view that detects temperature data from the field of view and provides a signal indicative of at least a detected temperature of a subject. The system includes a tab comprising a tab temperature that is positioned within the field of view such that the infrared detector detects the tab and emits a signal indicative of a detected temperature of the tab. The system includes a temperature sensor secured to the tab that detects the tab temperature and provides a signal indicative of a reference temperature. A control unit is communicatively coupled to the infrared detector and the temperature sensor and computes a net value between the detected temperature of the subject and the detected temperature of the tab. The control unit calculates a core temperature of the subject by combining the net value with the reference temperature.

摘要: A charging system for a medical facility includes a patient support apparatus that has a base frame, an upper frame, a wheel to engage a floor surface, and a controller. A rechargeable battery is operably coupled to the base frame. The controller is configured to communicate with the rechargeable battery. A transmitting assembly is coupled to at least one of a wall surface and the floor surface of said medical facility. A receiving assembly is operably coupled to the base frame adjacent to the wheel. The receiving assembly is in communication with the rechargeable battery. The receiving assembly and the transmitting assembly selectively communicate to charge the rechargeable battery. An alert feature is in communication with the controller of the patient support apparatus. The alert feature is configured to emit an alarm when the controller indicates the rechargeable battery is at or below a predetermined charge level.
