    Abstract: An occupant protection device includes: a collision prediction unit configured to predict a collision state including a collision direction in a vehicle; a seat direction detection unit configured to detect a direction of a seat that is rotatable around a vertical axis of the vehicle with respect to the vehicle; a driving unit configured to adjust a degree of tension of a seatbelt; and a control unit configured to control the driving unit in accordance with the collision direction with respect to the vehicle predicted by the collision prediction unit and the direction of the seat with respect to the vehicle detected by the seat direction detection unit to change the degree of tension of the seatbelt.

    Abstract: A vehicle control system includes: an automated driving control part that performs automated driving in which at least one of acceleration/deceleration and steering of a vehicle is automatically controlled; a driving operation element that receives an operation of an occupant with respect to acceleration/deceleration and steering of the vehicle; an operation element state change part that makes the driving operation element disabled when the automated driving by the automated driving control part is performed; and an alternative operation reception part that receives an operation which is different from the operation with respect to the driving operation element by the occupant when the driving operation element is disabled by the operation element state change part, wherein the automated driving control part controls at least one of acceleration/deceleration and steering of the vehicle based on the operation by the alternative operation reception part.

    Abstract: A vehicle occupant protection control device includes: a seat state detector configured to detect directions of first and second seats inside a vehicle; and a vehicle occupant protection controller configured to open at least one of a first bag body that is opened on a first side in a width direction of the first seat and a second bag body that is opened on a second side diagonal to the first side in a width direction of the second seat in a state in which the first seat faces the second seat when the seat state detector detects that the first seat faces the second seat and an impact on the vehicle is detected or predicted. A first vehicle occupant sitting on the first seat is pressed on the second side in accordance with the opening of the first bag body or a second vehicle occupant sitting on the second seat is pressed on the first side in accordance with the opening of the second bag body.
