摘要: Provided is a seam welding device capable of seam welding various shapes of objects to be welded. A seam welding device which performs seam welding by causing electricity to be conducted between a first electrode wheel and a second electrode wheel comprises a first motor which drives the first electrode wheel, a second motor which drives the second electrode wheel, and a first belt provided between the first electrode wheel and the first motor. If a direction joining the axes of the first electrode wheel and the second electrode wheel is defined as a vertical direction, the direction from the first electrode wheel toward the second electrode wheel is upward, and the direction from the second electrode wheel toward the first electrode wheel is downward, then the first motor is disposed further upward than a point of contact of the first electrode wheel and the second electrode wheel.

摘要: To provide a welding gun capable of improving the durability by effectively bearing the load in the thrust direction, and capable of providing a heavyweight and large-sized movable gun arm, even in a small-sized main body unit. A welding gun 10 of a guide groove type is provided with a thrust direction guide mechanism including: two guide pins 19a and 19b provided to an arm holder 13 in an integrated manner by penetrating first and second guide grooves 17a and 17b; brackets 23a and 23b being fixedly provided to the end portions of the guide pins 19a and 19b, and having a length sufficient to traverse the first and second guide grooves 17a and 17b in a direction orthogonal to the axis line of the guide pins 19a and 19b; and thrust bearing members 24a and 24b being provided to the end portions of the brackets 23a and 23b, abutting on a side plate 11a of a gun body 11, so as to be movable along the first and second guide grooves 17a and 17b.

A retaining hole for retaining the stationary gun arm, guide grooves for insertion of rolling members provided on an arm holder that retains the movable gun arm, connecting member insertion holes into which connecting members connecting the first retaining member and the second retaining member are inserted, and a retained member insertion hole for inserting a retained member retained by a moving member that moves the retaining unit to a welding operation location, are formed in the first retaining member and the second retaining member, and the regions where these components are formed are set as thick-walled regions having a greater thickness than other regions. Thus, adequate rigidity is ensured while avoiding an increase in weight.

摘要: Provided are a projection welding device and an electrode cleaning method for the same with which it is possible to keep a stud holding hole formed in a welding electrode clean. A projection welding device welds a stud to a workpiece by holding the stud using a second electrode, bringing the stud into contact with the workpiece, and causing a welding current to flow through the second electrode, wherein the second electrode includes a stud holding hole which extends from a cap opening formed in the distal end, to a bottom portion formed on the base end side, and at least one lateral hole which extends from a side wall opening formed in a side wall to the bottom portion, and the projection welding device is provided with a stud supply device which ejects air into the stud holding hole from the cap opening of the second electrode.

摘要: A protective cover used in a guide groove-type welding gun is provided with: a cover body into which a movable gun arm is inserted, said cover body being of a flame-retardant fabric, covering at least a gun body, having an open-ended tubular shape, and being capable of following changes in shape; the first strings that can allow the mobile gun arm to project and maintain the upper end opening in a narrow-mouthed state; and the second string that can allow the fixed gun arm to project and maintain the lower end opening in a narrow-mouthed state. Thus, sputter depositions and the like that occur during welding are reliably prevented from penetrating the gun body, further improving the durability of the welding gun.
