    Abstract: A welding cell for a resistance spot welding, its use for resistance spot welding, and a welding method performed therewith are disclosed. The welding cell includes a system for implementing resistance spot welding technology, a data collecting system, a system for improving efficiency of data collection, and a processing, monitoring, and control system. The welding cell includes a data transmission priority manager for adjusting digit capacity, transmission rate and transmission frequency of the digitized signal, separately, for signals of each sensor, and a digital twin controller, which, based on the digitized signal, provides a control signal to the control unit for controlling the electromechanical actuators and moving the electrodes of the welding cell. The welding cell provides for resistance spot welding with predictable and controllable quality, increased performance and reduced requirements to the computing unit performance of the welding cell, and reduced costs for equipping the welding cell.

    Abstract: A welding gun and a welding method with which it is possible to reduce, the wait time for loading a component and to decrease tact time. The welding gun is a welding gun for resistance-welding components to a workpiece successively, and comprises a first holding portion and a second holding portion for holding a component. The first holding portion and the second holding portion are each switchable to an abutment-enabling position for causing a component to abut against a workpiece, or to a loading-enabling position for loading the component. The first holding portion and the second holding portion are switchable such that when the first holding portion is in the abutment-enabling position, the second holding portion is in the loading-enabling position, and when the second holding portion is in the abutment-enabling position, the first holding portion is in the loading-enabling position.

    Abstract: A protective cover used in a guide groove-type welding gun is provided with: a cover body into which a movable gun arm is inserted, said cover body being of a flame-retardant fabric, covering at least a gun body, having an open-ended tubular shape, and being capable of following changes in shape; the first strings that can allow the mobile gun arm to project and maintain the upper end opening in a narrow-mouthed state; and the second string that can allow the fixed gun arm to project and maintain the lower end opening in a narrow-mouthed state.
