Abstract: A rotating electric machine includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor includes a plurality of permanent magnets and a rotor core. The plurality of permanent magnets are to form magnetic poles. The rotor core includes stacked steel sheets, magnet holes, a plurality of cutouts, and fixing elements. The magnet holes are provided in the stacked steel sheets. The plurality of permanent magnets are provided in the magnet holes. The plurality of cutouts are provided between the plurality of permanent magnets located adjacent in a circumferential direction of the rotor core to form different magnetic poles. The fixing elements are to fix the steel sheets to each other. The fixing elements are provided at positions on an outer peripheral side of inner peripheral end portions of the cutouts and between the cutouts and the magnet holes.

Abstract: A stator of a rotary electric machine includes a stator core and a coil. The stator core includes slots extending in an axial direction of the stator core and a first axial end surface in the axial direction. The coil is attached to the stator core and includes slot coils disposed in the slots and connection coils. At least one of the slot coils includes a slit in a part positioned in a slot among the slots. The slit extends through the at least one of the slot coils from a first axial end side of the stator core toward a second axial end side of the stator core opposite to the first axial end side in the axial direction. The connection coils are connected to the slot coils at a contact portion at a position outward from the first axial end surface in the axial direction.

Abstract: A rotating electric machine includes an inner-circumferential-side shaft, an outer-circumferential-side shaft, and a rotor. The rotor is secured to the outer-circumferential-side shaft. The inner-circumferential-side shaft is rotatably supported by a bearing that is provided between a gear and the rotor. An outer circumference of the inner-circumferential-side shaft and an inner circumference of the outer-circumferential-side shaft are spline-fitted to each other at a spline-fitted portion. The outer-circumferential-side shaft has a loosely fitted portion that is provided on the inner circumference of the outer-circumferential-side shaft and that is fitted on the outer circumference of the inner-circumferential-side shaft with a first gap having a predetermined length provided between the loosely fitted portion and the outer circumference of the inner-circumferential-side shaft. The first gap is smaller than a second gap provided at the spline-fitted portion between the inner-circumferential-side shaft and the outer-circumferential-side shaft.
