Abstract: The present invention provides a battery cell capable of uniformly holding an electrode laminate and speeding up a manufacturing process. A battery cell includes an electrode laminate including positive and negative electrodes and an electrolyte layer, in which the positive and negative electrodes are alternately laminated with the electrolyte layer interposed between them; and a tube-shaped insulating member that is heat-shrinkable and holds the electrode laminate, wherein the insulating material has at least two folded parts for positioning a member disposed in the internal space of the insulating member. The insulating member preferably has two portions each between the two folded parts, and the two portions are preferably equal in circumferential length.

The electrode for lithium ion secondary batteries includes a current collector made of porous metal; and an electrode layer including an electrode material mixture including at least an electrode active material, in which the current collector is filled with the electrode material mixture, the current collector has an intermediate region and two surface regions in its thickness direction and m the electrode layer, the intermediate region has a porosity lower than that of the two surface region, and the intermediate region is filled with a first electrode active material, and the two surface regions are filled with a second electrode active material having a particle size larger than that of the first electrode active material.

Abstract: An all-solid-state lithium-ion secondary battery which enables a leak inspection to be swiftly and simply performed is provided. The all-solid-state lithium-ion secondary battery includes an electrode laminate in which a positive electrode, a solid electrolyte layer, and a negative electrode are alternatingly laminated and disposed, a tab gathering section extended from the electrodes, and an exterior film which clads the electrode laminate and the tab gathering section. The electrode laminate and the tab gathering section are vacuum packaged by the exterior film. For example, it is possible to perform a leak inspection of the all-solid-state lithium-ion secondary battery by a recess for inspection formed by the exterior film following along a recess formed in the surface on the electrode laminate side being present, and measuring displacement of this recess for inspection.

Abstract: To enhance stiffness of a battery ceil and avoid cracking of an electrode without a reinforcement member in the battery cell configured such that a battery is covered with an exterior body including a laminated film. A battery cell includes a battery and an exterior body housing the battery. The exterior body includes a film in which a plurality of layers is stacked on each other, and the plurality of layers includes a surface layer to be a stiffness reinforcing layer, an air blocking layer, and an inner layer to be an adhesive layer. A buffer layer made of polyethylene terephthalate may be interposed between the air blocking layer and the inner layer. Moreover, an adhesive layer may be interposed between the air blocking layer and the surface layer. Further, a waterproof layer made of polypropylene or polyethylene terephthalate may be provided outside the air blocking layer.
