An accelerator position detection device includes a handlebar grip that is turnable in a normal rotation direction and in a reverse rotation direction from a neutral position and is energized to the neutral position when no operation is applied; accelerator position sensors that output voltage according to an angle of the handlebar grip and that include a first sensor and a second sensor; and a detector that detects an angle for control for controlling a vehicle on the basis of the angle of the handlebar grip according to output from the accelerator position sensors. The detector detects an angle as a positive value on the basis of a first voltage when the first voltage in a rising range is output, and the detector detects an angle as a negative value on the basis of a second voltage when a first initial value not located in the rising range is output.

An operation device of a straddle type vehicle has a controller used to operate at least two or more kinds of functions of equipment mounted on the straddle type vehicle. The controller includes a controller operation portion capable of rotary and other freely moving operations. A straddle vehicle includes: a body frame; an article storage portion including a case portion which is supported by the body frame and opens in a vehicle width direction and a lid portion attached to the case portion so as to be openable and closable and having a storage space; a lock unit for locking the lid portion to the case portion; and an antenna unit for receiving radio waves. A tray member is provided in an upper portion of the case portion in the storage space of the article storage portion, and the lock unit and the antenna unit are accommodated in the tray member.

A handlebar switch device for a saddled vehicle is provided in which a handlebar switch case and a handlebar grip that is disposed on an outside in a vehicle width direction of the handlebar switch case are mounted on a handlebar forming part of a steering handle. A sub switch case is supported on a stay that is selected from a plurality of kinds of stays that can be mounted on the handlebar at a fixed relative position with respect to the handlebar switch case while being adjacent to the handlebar switch case from an inside in the vehicle width direction. This enables a sub switch case to be additionally disposed without impairing the ease of operation of a switch of the handlebar switch case.

A handle switch for use on a vehicle includes a plurality of switches for operating electric devices on a vehicle. The handle switch is mounted on a switch case fixed to a handlebar of the motorcycle, wherein the plurality of switches include a composite switch having a plurality of operating directions and other switches having less operating directions than the composite switch. The composite switch is disposed on the switch in a position closer to a center of a vehicle body, and the other switches are disposed in a position between a handle grip fixed to an end of the handlebar and the composite switch. The composite switch has an operating portion is directed rearwardly of the vehicle body. The operating portion of the composite switch includes a four-way switch as a plural-direction operator projects rearwardly of the vehicle body.

A vehicular audio processing unit includes a receiver that receives voice data by wirelessly communicating with audio equipment, an audio processor that applies predetermined audio processing to the voice data received by the receiver, a transmitter that transmits the voice data to which the audio processor applies the predetermined audio processing by wirelessly communicating with an audio output device that can output a sound, and a sensor that detects an operational status of a vehicle with which the unit is provided. The audio processor automatically modifies the predetermined audio processing based on the operational status detected by the operational status detector to the voice data received by the receive, thereby the user is not required to perform any operation for varying the voice output according to an operational status of the vehicle.
