Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for displaying the operational parameters of a radio system located onboard an aircraft. The apparatus comprises a permanent radio display bar that shows an active radio frequency in use by the radio system and a variable radio display pad. The variable radio display pad shows multiple historical past radio frequencies previously used by the radio system and multiple predicted future radio frequencies for use along a flight plan of the aircraft. It includes a change command that allows a crew member to manually change the active radio frequency in the permanent radio display bar.

Abstract: To facilitate improved Controller-Pilot Data Link Communication (CPDLC) interfacing, report messages can be automatically armed and displayed in a threaded message format in the same message panel with other CPDLC messages between a vehicle and a ground system. Upon determining that a report is needed based on an uplink CPDLC message from the ground system, a report message label is displayed on the CPDLC message panel. Once the report is ready, it is automatically armed and the report message label indicates to the operator that the report message is ready to be sent. The operator can also select the report message label in the message panel to display the report message.

Abstract: A method for displaying CPDLC messages on a user interface is provided. The method includes receiving a CPDLC message for display on the user interface; determining whether the CPDLC message has a message reference number (MRN); if the CPDLC message does not have an MRN, displaying the CPDLC message in a first column in a panel body of the user interface if the CPDLC message is a downlink CPDLC message or in a second column in the panel body if the CPDLC message is an uplink CPDLC message; if the CPDLC message does have an MRN, identifying a prior CPDLC message having the MRN as a message identification number (MIN) for the prior CPDLC message; identifying whether the prior CPDLC message is in the first or the second column; and displaying the CPDLC message in an opposite column from the prior CPDLC message.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for managing configurations of multiple vehicle displays. For instance, a method may include: obtaining a configurable file for an electronic checklist; generating a graphical user interface (GUI) based on the configurable file; displaying the GUI on one of the multiple vehicle displays; receiving a user input on the GUI; and performing a window configuration setting process based on the user input. Abstract: One or more datalink labels are displayed on a shared panel of a user interface. The datalink labels are generated in response to receiving a datalink message from at least one ground station. Upon receiving a selection of the datalink label, one or more sub-panels that include information or a representation of the datalink message are displayed on the user interface. In some embodiments, the sub-panel includes a button that, when selected, automatically generates a response message. Utilizing datalink labels in conjunction with the shared panel simplifies datalink messaging and enables messaging functions to be completed on the same screen regardless of which application (or function of an application) is currently displayed on the user interface.

The first vertical profile corresponding to the first lateral route is depicted on the vertical profile display in a first plane and the second vertical profile corresponding to the modified lateral route is depicted on the vertical profile display in a second plane different from the first plane.
