    Abstract: In an integrated wireless communication network that includes terrestrial and non-terrestrial network devices, signaling that is indicative of information for application by a User Equipment (UE) in selection between multiple cooperation nodes to provide the UE with access to a non-terrestrial network device in the integrated wireless communication network is communicated. Cooperation may also or instead be applied in conjunction with a group handover procedure. For example, signaling that is indicative of information for application in making a handover determination by a cooperation node may be communicated. The handover determination may involve determining whether a first cooperation node is to perform a handover procedure to establish a connection to a second network device while a second cooperation node maintains its connection to a first network device; or the second cooperation node is to perform the handover procedure while the first cooperation node maintains its connection to the first network device.

    Abstract: Methods and devices utilizing sidelink transmission between user equipment (UEs) for HARQ retransmission are provided. The sidelink HARQ retransmissions include data from the initial transmission or an outer coded version thereof. HARQ feedback from the targeted receiver of the initial transmission may identify code block groups and/or individual code blocks the target receiver did not successfully decode. A UE that has not successfully decoded an entire transport block, may still cooperate in HARQ retransmission for the targeted receiver of the transport block by retransmitting at least a subset of the code block groups that it was able to successfully decode for the transport block.

    Abstract: An integrated terrestrial/non-terrestrial network may allow for enhanced network coverage. However, there are control and management challenges associated with an integrated terrestrial/non-terrestrial network because the network and user equipments (UEs) are no longer confined to only using conventional cellular communication via terrestrial transmit-and-receive points (T-TRPs). One challenge is how to perform beam management. In some embodiments, methods and systems are disclosed in which an indication of angular direction (e.g. beam direction) is provided by the T-TRP. The indication of angular direction may be used by a UE for communicating with a non-terrestrial TRP (NT-TRP), e.g. using beamforming. However, the methods are not limited to integrated terrestrial/non-terrestrial networks or the involvement of NT-TRPs, but apply more generally to indicating angular direction for directional communication.
