摘要: An electronic device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first transmission antenna module which transmits a monitoring signal for a radio link on the basis of a preset transmission antenna weight vector according to a first control signal; a first reception antenna module which receives the monitoring signal from the first transmission antenna module on the basis of a preset reception antenna weight vector, and generates first and second monitoring result information on the basis of the monitoring signal; a second transmission antenna module which transmits the first and second monitoring result information; a second reception antenna module which receives the first and second monitoring information from the second transmission antenna module; a processor which transmits the first control signal and a second control signal associated with a compression rate determined on the basis of the first and second monitoring information; and a data compression module which performs compression on a data stream on the basis of the second control signal.

摘要: Various arrangements for performing transmodulation of a forward feeder link are presented. A first data stream and a second data stream can be modulated into a higher-order modulation forward feeder link having a higher-order digital modulation scheme. A satellite can receive the higher-order modulation forward feeder link. The satellite can demodulate the higher-order modulator forward feeder link into a bit stream. This bit stream may then be remodulated and retransmitted as multiple forward user links.

摘要: To extend the number of bits of an identifier without affecting the number of data bits to be transmitted. The present disclosure provides a receiving apparatus (1102) that identifies a transmitting apparatus (1101) based on a first identifier (10) having been individually given to each transmitting apparatus in order to identify the transmitting apparatus and a second identifier (20) which is for identifying the transmitting apparatus and which is shared among a plurality of transmitting apparatuses. According to this configuration, the number of bits of an identifier can be extended without affecting the number of data bits.

摘要: 5G and 6G wireless networks can use artificial intelligence models to optimize performance by measuring the rate of message faults, and in particular the rate of various types of faults. For example, the amplitude faults include a modulation amplitude distorted by a small or large amplitude change, and whether the faults cluster in the high or low amplitude modulation portions of a constellation chart, among many other inputs related to network operations. The artificial intelligence model can be configured to predict the subsequent network performance according to each modulation scheme available to the network, thereby enabling the network to select a more effective modulation scheme. Alternatively, the artificial intelligence model can select the preferred modulation scheme and recommend the change to the network operators, or it can implement the change automatically if enabled to do so.

摘要: A method for communicating with a legacy terminal supporting a legacy air interface and a new terminal supporting a next generation air interface including: assigning a same carrier to the legacy terminal and the new terminal; receiving a terminal identifier and an optional payload for transmission at a MAC/RLC layer; determining if the terminal identifier is associated with the legacy terminal or the new terminal; composing, based on the determining, a burst header; formatting, a burst including the burst header and the optional payload; and transmitting the burst. In the method, the burst header is set to one of the one or more valid burst headers when the burst is associated with the legacy terminal, and the burst header is set to one of the one or more undefined burst headers when the burst is associated with the new terminal.

摘要: A method and system to control modulation and coding scheme (MCS) used for air-interface communication over an air interface between an access node and one or more user equipment devices (UEs) served by the access node. A method includes detecting that a backhaul connection through which the access node communicates is threshold heavily loaded, and, in response, suppressing the MCS used for air-interface communication over the air interface between the access node and one or more UEs served by the access node. Further, the method could apply in a scenario where multiple access nodes share the backhaul connection, in which case one access node could detect that the backhaul connection is threshold heavily loaded and could responsively cause another access node to suppress MCS used for the other access node's air-interface communication.

摘要: A method in a transmitter station includes: generating payload data for transmission to a receiver station via a plurality of antennae of the transmitter station; selecting a number of transmit streams for transmission of the payload data; selecting respective modulation schemes for each of the transmit streams; according to the modulation schemes and to an active one of (i) a single-encoder mode and (ii) a per-stream encoder mode, generating the number of coded, modulated transmit streams; wherein each coded, modulated transmit stream contains a portion of the payload data; and providing the coded, modulated transmit streams to respective ones of the antennae for transmission to the receiver station.

摘要: An electronic device includes processing circuitry configured to detect a presence of a packet transmission via a channel, establish communication parameters and operational settings of an analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) operation using a training field (TF) of the packet if the packet comprises the TF, and utilize a channel estimation (CE) portion of the packet to perform channel estimation of the channel. The processing circuitry is also configured to utilize the channel estimates to compensate for distortions introduced by the channel with respect to portions of the packet subsequent to the CE portion, obtain a modulation order and coding scheme used for the data portion of the packet, select an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to be used for a recovery of the data portion of the packet, and recover the information in the data portion of the packet using ADC output samples corresponding to the data portion of the packet.
