Abstract: An antenna element is provided. The antenna element comprises: a support structure; a radiating structure arranged on or within the support structure, said radiating structure comprising: a radiating element having a resonant frequency inside an operating frequency band of the antenna element; and a filter connected to the radiating element and configured to filter out harmonics of the operating frequency band. An antenna system is also provided, which comprises a first antenna element according to the first aspect configured to radiate in a first operating frequency band, and a second antenna element configured to radiate in a second operating frequency band, wherein the second operating frequency band overlaps with harmonics of the first operating frequency band.

Abstract: In some examples, a dual polarity antenna includes a dual polarity radiator. The dual polarity radiator includes a first radiator having a first polarity and a second radiator having a second polarity orthogonal to the first polarity. The dual polarity antenna further includes an ancillary radiator. The dual polarity antenna further includes a feeding network for feeding a radio-frequency (RF) signal to both the first radiator and the ancillary radiator, driving the first radiator to radiate a wave having a first polarisation, causing radiation of a spurious wave having a polarisation orthogonal to the first polarisation, and driving the ancillary radiator to radiate a wave that cancels the spurious wave at least partly.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to antenna devices and arrays of antenna devices. One example antenna device includes a first radiator configured to radiate a first electromagnetic signal, a second radiator configured to radiate a second electromagnetic signal, and a joint feeding network including a first 180-degree coupler and a second 180-degree coupler arranged in sequence. The first 180-degree coupler receives first input signal and second input signal, and the second 180-degree coupler provides first output signal to the first radiator and second output signal to the second radiator. In the joint feeding network, a first path connects the first 180-degree coupler to the second 180-degree coupler including a first phase shifter. A second path connects the first 180-degree coupler to the second 180-degree coupler including a second phase shifter and an attenuator.

The second radiating structure operates at the second frequency band that does not affect the performance of the first radiating structure that operate at the first frequency band even when both radiating structures are placed in the vicinity of each other.

The second radiating elements are arranged in an array at least partially overlapping with the sparse array. At least some of the second radiating elements are disposed in an area covered by the sparse mMIMO array.
