Abstract: This application provides a buffer configuration method and a switching device, to ensure no packet loss, and belongs to the field of network technologies. The method includes: sending, by a first switching device, a first measurement frame to a second switching device; receiving, by the first switching device, a second measurement frame sent by the second switching device, where the second measurement frame is generated through triggering based on the first measurement frame; determining, by the first switching device, a buffer configuration parameter based on the first measurement frame and the second measurement frame; and setting, by the first switching device, a local buffer based on the configuration parameter. This application is used to automatically configure a buffer of a switching device, thereby reducing buffer space without packet loss.

Abstract: The disclosed structures and methods are directed to antenna systems configured to transmit and receive a wireless signal in and from different directions. An antenna structure comprises a pair of horizontal-polarization (HP) antenna units forming a first parallel-plate waveguide. One of the HP antenna units and a base unit form a second parallel-plate waveguide. The antenna further comprises a pair of vertical-polarization (VP) antenna units each located in one of the first and second parallel-plate waveguides. Each HP antenna unit comprises inverted F antennas (IFAs) configured to radiate a radio-frequency (RF) waves that are horizontally polarized. Each VP antenna unit comprises VP excitation elements configured to radiate the RF waves that are vertically polarized. A method for manufacturing of the antenna structure is also disclosed.

Abstract: Example channel feedback information transmission methods are disclosed. In one example method, a terminal performs channel estimation on a subcarrier on which a downlink pilot is located, and obtains first channel information. The terminal performs a channel interpolation calculation on a channel of a data subcarrier according to the first channel information, and obtains second channel information according to a result of the channel interpolation calculation. The terminal determines a feedback factor, and obtains third channel information from the second channel information according to the feedback factor, where an amount of the third channel information is less than an amount of the second channel information. The terminal feeds back the third channel information to a base station. Some channel information is selected and fed back by means of a feedback factor.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method and apparatus, and the method includes: modulating to-be-sent information bits according to a lower order constellation diagram, and generating 4m lower order modulation symbols; multiplying a precoding matrix Q by a column vector including every four lower order modulation symbols in the 4m lower order modulation symbols, to obtain 4m to-be-sent higher order modulation symbols corresponding to a higher order constellation diagram; and respectively and correspondingly sending the 4m to-be-sent higher order modulation symbols on different carriers of two antennas. The to-be-sent higher order modulation symbols include some or all to-be-sent information bits. Therefore, the same signal can be simultaneously sent on different carriers of multiple antennas, and frequency diversity and space diversity are implemented, so that transceiving performance of data transmission is improved.
