摘要: Cellular radios employing multiple power amplifiers for legacy communications are disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, a mobile phone includes a first antenna, a second antenna, and an RFFE including a first transmit path operable to transmit a first RF signal on the first antenna using a first communication standard in a first mode, and a second transmit path operable to transmit a second RF signal on the second antenna using the first communication standard in the first mode. Furthermore, in a second mode the RFFE is implemented to reuse the first transmit path and the second transmit path to synchronously transmit a third RF signal on the first antenna and the second antenna using a second communication standard.

摘要: Provided is a wireless communication terminal that wirelessly communicates with a base wireless communication terminal. The wireless communication terminal includes a transceiver, and a processor. The processor is configured to set an integer selected from a range of 0 to a value equal to or smaller than an OFDMA Contention Window (OCW) as a counter for random access, receive a trigger frame for triggering random access using one or more resource units (RUs) allocated for the random access from the base wireless communication terminal using the transceiver, decrement a value of the counter based on the one or more RUs allocated for the random access, randomly select one RU based on the one or more RUs allocated for the random access when the value of the counter is 0 or reaches 0, and attempt transmission to the base wireless communication terminal using the selected RU.

摘要: An transmission apparatus of the present disclosure comprises a transmission signal generator which, in operation, generates a transmission signal that includes a legacy preamble, a non-legacy preamble and a data field, wherein the non-legacy preamble comprises a first signal field and a second signal field, the second signal field comprising a first channel field and a second channel field, each of the first channel field and the second channel field comprising a common field that carries resource unit allocation information and a user-specific field that carries per-user allocation information for one or more terminal stations, and wherein a part of the user-specific field of one of the first channel field and the second channel field whichever is longer than the other channel field in length before appending padding bits is relocated to the other channel field; and a transmitter which, in operation, transmits the generated transmission signal.

摘要: An approach is described for a method for a fifth generation (5G) wireless communication or a new radio (NR) system that includes the following steps. The method includes generating data samples associated with a sampling rate. The method further includes generating a waveform by populating a first slot and a second slot in a subframe of the waveform using the data samples, wherein slot durations of the first slot and the second slot in the subframe of the waveform equal respective durations of a first slot and a second slot in a subframe of a reference waveform to thereby align the first slot and the second slot in the subframe of the waveform with the respective first slot and second slot in the subframe of the reference waveform. The method further includes transmitting the waveform using front end circuitry, wherein the waveform is a single carrier waveform, and wherein the reference waveform is an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) waveform.

摘要: A communication device performs a backoff procedure for a duration of time to determine whether a first sub-channel of a communication channel and a second sub-channel of the communication channel are available for transmission by the communication device. The first sub-channel is designated as a primary channel and the second sub-channel is designated as a secondary channel. Performing the backoff procedure includes using a single backoff counter, and starting and stopping the backoff counter based on sensing the first sub-channel and sensing the second sub-channel.

摘要: A PLC network system and method operative with OFDM for generating MIMO frames with suitable preamble portions configured to provide backward compatibility with legacy PLC devices and facilitate different receiver tasks such as frame detection and symbol timing, channel estimation and automatic gain control (AGC), including robust preamble detection in the presence of impulsive noise and frequency-selective channels of the PLC network. A PLC device may include a delayed correlation detector and a cross-correlation detector operating in concert to facilitate preamble detection in one implementation.

摘要: A first communication device generates a PHY preamble of a PHY data unit to include a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol corresponding to a legacy signal field. The legacy signal field includes i) a length subfield, and ii) a rate subfield. The length subfield and the rate subfield indicate a duration of the PHY data unit, and the legacy signal field is formatted according to a legacy second communication protocol. The first communication device generates the PHY preamble of a PHY data unit to include a second OFDM symbol corresponding to a duplicate of the legacy signal field, and a plurality of additional OFDM symbols corresponding to a non-legacy signal field. The first communication device sets the length subfield of the legacy signal field to a length value such that a remainder value resulting from dividing the length value by three, indicates that the PHY data unit conforms to the first communication protocol.
