The method includes: determining, by a terminal based on resource unit allocation signaling, locations of S resource units in a system bandwidth that are scheduled to the terminal; grouping, by the terminal, the S resource units into K resource groups, where a quantity of resource units that separate any resource unit in a first resource group from any resource unit in a second resource group in the system bandwidth is not less than a threshold M; and precoding, by the terminal by using N precoding matrices, data sent in N resource unit sets, where resource units included in each of the N resource unit sets are determined based on the K resource groups, and S, K, and M are all positive integers.

摘要: A terminal device may receive precoding indicator information, where the precoding indicator information includes K first indicators and one second indicator. The terminal device determines K first precoding matrices based on the K first indicators, and determines a second precoding matrix based on the second indicator, where K is a positive integer. The terminal device precodes, by using the K first precoding matrices, data sent in K first frequency bands, to obtain precoded first data, and precodes, by using the second precoding matrix, data sent in a second frequency band, to obtain precoded second data. The K first frequency bands are located in some frequency bands in a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) scheduling frequency band. The second frequency band is a frequency band in the PUSCH scheduling frequency band other than the K first frequency bands.

摘要: This application provides a data transmission method, terminal device, and network device. The method includes: sending, by a terminal device, at least one precoded reference signal on at least one reference signal resource corresponding to a first PRG, where different precoding matrixes are used for different reference signals, and the first PRG is a PRG used to transmit a reference signal; receiving, by the terminal device, resource indication information, where the resource indication information indicates a reference signal resource that is corresponding to a second PRG and that is in the at least one reference signal resource, and the second PRG is a PRG used to transmit a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH); and sending, by the terminal device, a precoded PUSCH on the second PRG based on the resource indication information, where a precoding matrix used for the PUSCH is a precoding matrix used for a reference signal sent on the reference signal resource corresponding to the second PRG. In this way, a precoding matrix used to transmit the PUSCH on the second PRG can be effectively selected.

The first frequency-domain resource comprises K subcarriers each having a subcarrier number of k, k=u+L*n+delta, L is an integer greater than or equal to 2, delta∈{0, 1, . . . , L−1}, u is an integer, and subcarrier numbers of the K subcarriers are numbered in ascending or descending order of frequencies.
