Abstract: A method includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), to use a first radio access technology, and triggering, by the UE, a first event to disable a second radio access technology while the UE currently uses the second radio access technology. The first event indicates that a base station fails to configure a secondary cell or instructs the base station to delete a configured secondary cell. The secondary cell is a secondary cell of the second radio access technology on the unlicensed spectrum.

Abstract: This application provides a terminal device and a wireless communications method. When the terminal device is in a dual connectivity network including an LTE link and an NR link, the terminal device determines, based on a service transmission rate related to an actual transmission rate, whether to disconnect the NR link. If the service transmission rate is relatively low, the terminal device disconnects the NR link. If the service transmission rate is relatively high, the terminal device does not disconnect a first link, and uses both the NR link and the LTE link for communication. In this way, power consumption of the terminal device can be effectively reduced without affecting the user experience on transmission rate, the user experience on power consumption is improved, and the user experiences on transmission rate and power consumption are balanced to some extent.

Abstract: A communication method that includes: a terminal transmits data for a first application in a first communications system via a first protocol data unit (PDU) session, where the first PDU session does not support interworking between the first communications system and a second communications system. The terminal moves from the first communications system to the second communications system. After the terminal moves from the second communications system back to the first communications system, the terminal obtains a second PDU session based on at least first transmission information of the first application, and transmits data for the first application in the first communications system via the second PDU session, where the first transmission information includes an identifier of the first application.
