Abstract: An information sharing method includes that a first redundancy device generates a first supervision frame that includes device information of the first redundancy device, where the first supervision frame detects whether a second redundancy device on a transmission link on which the first redundancy device is located in the redundancy network is in a working state, where the first redundancy device is any redundancy device in the redundancy network; and where the first redundancy device sends the first supervision frame to the second redundancy device in a multicast manner. The device information of the redundancy device is carried in the supervision frame.

Abstract: In a data transmission method, if a to-be-transmitted second data frame exists in a process in which a network device transmits a first data frame, and a priority of the second data frame is higher than a priority of the first data frame, the network device determines a frame type of the second data frame as an express frame. The network device adjusts a frame type of the first data frame to a preemptable frame if the frame type of the first data frame is an express frame. Then, the network device stops transmitting the first data frame, and starts to transmit the second data frame.

Abstract: A communication interface for use at a first end of a communication link including a number of communication lanes greater or equal to two. The communication interface includes a logic configured to cooperate with another communication interface at a second end of the communication link to send a data frame to the second end over the communication lanes. The logic is configured to store a communication lane status for each of the communication lanes, and when detecting that the communication lane status for a specific communication lane has changed to a determined status. The logic is configured to send the changed communication lane status for the specific communication lane to the communication interface at the second end and split a data frame accordingly. The communication interface provides seamless data communication between the first end and the second end of the communication link, even in case of a lane failure.
