Abstract: This application discloses a network resource scheduling method and an apparatus. A scheduling process includes receiving, by a first network node, a message, where the message includes a network resource that needs to be scheduled between a plurality of network nodes on a multi-hop path. After resource scheduling is performed between the first network node and a second network node, the message is sent to the second network node, to trigger network resource scheduling between the second network node and a third network node. Therefore, end-to-end resource scheduling can be implemented using one message, and end-to-end resource reservation on the multi-hop path can be implemented.

Abstract: A gateway device receives interface information sent by an interface extension device, where an Ethernet interface of the interface extension device is connected to a target Ethernet interface of the gateway device, and the interface information includes an interface type and a media access control (MAC) address of a first non-Ethernet interface of the interface extension device. The gateway device creates a first virtual interface on the target Ethernet interface based on the interface information, where the first virtual interface corresponds to the first non-Ethernet interface, and an interface type of the first virtual interface is an Ethernet interface. The gateway device sends an interface creation success notification to the interface extension device. The gateway device may obtain data of the first non-Ethernet interface through the first virtual interface, thereby implementing interface extension of the gateway device.

Abstract: This application describes a frame aggregation method. A first forwarding node device receives a first data frame and a second data frame, where the first data frame includes a first MAC header and a first MSDU, the second data frame includes a second MAC header and a second MSDU, and a destination MAC address in the first MAC header is the same as a destination MAC address in the second MAC header; and generates a first aggregated frame, where the first aggregated frame includes an aggregated MAC header and an aggregated MSDU, the aggregated MSDU includes a first sub-MSDU and a second sub-MSDU, the first sub-MSDU includes the first MSDU and a source MAC address of the first data frame, and the second sub-MSDU includes the second MSDU and a source MAC address of the second data frame. A second forwarding node device sends the first aggregated frame.

Abstract: A packet sending method includes: receiving, by a first node, a first broadcast data packet sent by a second node; and if a sequence number of the first broadcast data packet equals 1 plus a sequence number of a latest data packet saved by the first node, and the first node does not receive, within a first preset time period, a first acknowledgement indication for the first broadcast data packet of the second node, sending, by the first node, a first broadcast acknowledgement packet when the first preset time period elapses, where the first broadcast acknowledgement packet includes the first acknowledgement indication, and the first acknowledgement indication includes the sequence number of the first broadcast data packet and an address of the second node. This method could resolve acknowledgement packet implosion while ensuring broadcast packet reliability of a wireless mesh network.

Abstract: This application provides a network access method for hybrid networking, a proxy coordination device, and a station device. The method includes: calculating, by a proxy coordination device, a network access parameter based on a link quality parameter of the proxy coordination device in a PLC network, where the network access parameter includes link overheads, and the link overheads are used to indicate overheads for performing network access by a station device through the proxy coordination device based on radio frequency RF communication; and sending, by the proxy coordination device, a DIO packet, where the DIO packet includes the link overheads. As such the station device can select a better network access path based on the link overheads, helping to improve operation efficiency of a hybrid network.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a method, an apparatus, and a system for information transmission in a PLC network. A switch control apparatus in embodiments of this application includes a switch and a coupling circuit. The coupling circuit is connected in parallel to two ends of the switch. When the switch is open, the coupling circuit transmits a first power line communication (PLC) signal to a gateway device. In embodiments of this application, when the switch is open, the PLC signal may be sent to the gateway device and information such as power off and tripping may be reported to the gateway device.

Abstract: A packet processing method and apparatus are presented. The method includes: generating, by a first node, a first packet based on first data of the first node, where the packet header of the first packet includes a service type, a final destination address, and residual times to aggregation (RTA); when the RTA of the first packet is not 0, determining, by the first node, a remaining capacity in a first cache corresponding to the service type and the final destination address; and when a data length of the first packet is not greater than the remaining capacity, aggregating, by the first node, the first packet and the second packet into a third packet, where the RTA of the third packet is a minimum value in the RTA of the second packet and a value obtained after 1 is subtracted from the RTA of the first packet.

A gateway device receives a first association request of a multimode device through a first physical interface, where the first association request includes a MAC address of a second physical interface of the multimode device. The gateway device receives a second association request of the multimode device through a third physical interface, where the second association request includes a MAC address of a fourth physical interface of the multimode device. The gateway device obtains an IPv6 address of the multimode device, and records a first correspondence and a second correspondence. The first correspondence includes the IPv6 address of the multimode device, the MAC address of the second physical interface, and the first physical interface. The second correspondence includes the IPv6 address of the multimode device, the MAC address of the fourth physical interface, and the third physical interface.
