    Abstract: A service data management method. The method includes: receiving, by the NOA, a service request of a first user equipment UE, and forwarding the service request to the SP server by using the NOC, so that the SP server returns service data requested by the first UE; determining, by the NOA, that the service data has been stored in the NOA, and sending hit indication information to the NOC, so that the NOC replaces a data segment in the service data with preconfigured replacement information, where bandwidth occupied by the preconfigured replacement information is smaller than bandwidth occupied by the data segment; and determining, by the NOA, a corresponding data segment according to received replacement information, and sending the data segment, which has been stored, to the first UE. Solutions provided in embodiments of the present invention can reduce the backhaul bandwidth occupancy.

    Abstract: A packet transmission method and related apparatus are disclosed. A transmit end retransmits a first packet to a receive end and decreases a congestion window and a slow start threshold upon determining that the first packet has been lost. The receive end sends an ACK in response to the retransmitted first packet to the transmit end on receipt of the retransmitted first packet for the first time, where the ACK contains a proactively constructed DSACK option for informing the transmit end that the first packet has been received repeatedly. The transmit end therefore compensates the congestion window and/or the slow start threshold.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a packet transmission method and user equipment. The method includes: transmitting, by a sending node, multiple packets to a receiving node; receiving multiple acknowledgement packets from the receiving node; after determining, based on the received multiple acknowledgement packets, that a first packet is lost, retransmitting the first packet; and if it is detected that the retransmitted packet is lost, continuously retransmitting, by the sending node, the first packet to the receiving node in a preset time interval for at least twice. According to the solutions of the present invention, the retransmitted packet can be detected and recovered in time after the retransmitted packet is lost, thereby reducing a quantity of times of timeout retransmission, improving a transmission rate, moreover, reducing a packet loss probability of a retransmitted packet, and further reducing a probability of timeout retransmission.

    Abstract: This application discloses a method and an apparatus for adjusting a data sending rate. In the method, when determining that a return time of feedback information of a first data packet has timed out, a terminal reduces a data sending rate of a connection to which the first data packet belongs from a first value to a second value. Then the terminal detects return times of feedback information of a plurality of subsequent data packets after the first data packet and determines a cause of the timeout of the feedback information of the first data packet. The terminal further increases a data sending rate from a current third value to a fourth value when determining that the timeout is caused by a packet loss on a wireless link in a communications link.
