Abstract: This application discloses an information transmission method in a communication system. According to the method, a master base station sends a request message to a secondary base station for requesting to transfer one or more flows from the master base station to the secondary base station for transmission to a terminal device. The request message carries one or both of identification information of each flow, and information of a data radio bearer (DRB) associated with each flow. The master base station receives a response message from the secondary base station, indicating whether each of the one or more flows is admitted or rejected by the secondary base station. Based on the identification information of the flows, DRBs are mapped to the flows. QoS management of information transmission is more refined, and requirements of 5G communication systems for QoS management of information transmission in a dual connectivity scenario can be met.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method, a terminal and a base station. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, a scheduling request resource configuration sent by a base station, where the scheduling request resource configuration indicates an uplink resource type or logical channel information; and sending, by the terminal, a scheduling request to the base station via a target scheduling request resource based on the scheduling request resource configuration and uplink data, where the target scheduling request resource indicates a target uplink resource type, and the scheduling request resource configuration includes the target scheduling request resource. In the embodiments of this application, when diversity of the uplink data is considered, the base station configures different scheduling request resources for different service characteristics, and the terminal selects different scheduling request resources for different service characteristics, to improve effectiveness of uplink service transmission.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a resource scheduling method, which includes: transmitting, by a terminal device, at least first indication information to a network device on a pre-allocated uplink resource, where the first indication information indicates a data volume of to-be-transmitted data of the terminal device; and transmitting the to-be-transmitted data on an uplink resource if the terminal device receives at least second indication information transmitted by the network device, where the second indication information indicates the uplink resource allocated by the network device to the terminal device. In the embodiments of this application, when to-be-transmitted data is MBB service data, the terminal device may transmit a data volume of the MBB service data to the network device on a grant-free resource, so that the network device allocates an uplink resource to the terminal device and the terminal device transmits the MBB service data on the uplink resource.
