摘要: An electric power conversion system includes: an AC-DC conversion circuit converting AC charging power into DC power; a motor including a plurality of coils, one end of each being connected to a neutral point; a first switching device selectively allowing or blocking supply of output power from the AC-DC conversion circuit to the neutral point; an inverter including a plurality of motor connection terminals connected to the other ends of the coils of the motor, respectively, DC connection terminals including a positive terminal and a negative terminal, and a plurality of switching elements forming electrical connections between the DC connection terminals and the plurality of motor connection terminals; a battery connected to the DC connection terminals of the inverter; and a controller controlling operations of the AC-DC conversion circuit, the first switching device, and the inverter in accordance with whether or not the battery is charged.

摘要: A system of charging a battery of a vehicle is provided. The system includes a charger having a direct current (DC) capacitor to which a DC voltage converted from an AC charge voltage is applied and a first DC converter that converts a magnitude of a voltage of the DC capacitor. A first battery is connected to the first DC converter and is charged with a DC voltage converted by the first DC converter. A second DC converter is connected to the battery and converts a magnitude of a voltage of the battery. A second battery receives a DC voltage converted by the second DC converter. A controller charges the DC capacitor up to a predetermined initial charge voltage using power stored in the second battery by operating the second DC converter and the first DC converter in a backward direction before the AC charge voltage is provided to the charger.

摘要: A motor driving and battery charging apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a motor having a plurality of coils, a rectifier circuit connected to the plurality of coils, and a high voltage battery. An inverter generates a driving current from an output voltage of the high voltage battery and supplies the driving current to the motor while the motor operates. While the high voltage battery is charged, the rectifier circuit rectifies an alternating current (AC) of an external power source, the motor and the inverter compensate for a power factor of the current rectified by the rectifier circuit, and the high voltage battery is charged with an output current of the motor and the inverter.

摘要: A power conversion system for vehicles is provided. The system includes a switching circuit having first input/output terminals, second input/output terminals and a plurality of switching elements connected between the first input/output terminals and the second input/output terminals. A first energy storage device is connected to the second input/output terminals and has a preset charging/discharging voltage. A first voltage conversion circuit converts power output from the first input/output terminals to output a voltage less than the voltage of the first energy storage device. A second energy storage device is charged/discharged with the output voltage of the first voltage conversion circuit. A controller controls open/short-circuit states of the switching elements based on whether the first energy storage device is being charged and whether the vehicle is traveling. When the first energy storage device is being charged, AC charging power is provided to the first input/output terminals from outside of the vehicle.

摘要: A power conversion system for vehicles is provided. The system includes a first energy storage device and a charging device with a rectification circuit for rectifying AC power to generate a DC link voltage. A DC-DC converter converts the level of the DC link voltage to generate a charging voltage of the first energy storage device. A low voltage DC-DC converter selectively down-converts one of the voltage of the first energy storage device and the DC link voltage to output a low voltage having a predetermined level. The low voltage DC-DC converter selectively converts one of the voltage of the first energy storage device and the DC link voltage into the low voltage based on whether the first energy storage device is charged according to input of the AC power.

摘要: A low voltage DC-DC converter for a vehicle includes: a switching circuit including a plurality of capacitors and a plurality of switches and converting a high voltage output from a high voltage battery into an AC voltage; a transformer converting the AC voltage output from the switching circuit into a low voltage; a current sensor measuring a current value output from the transformer; and a controller comparing the current value measured by the current sensor with a reference value to determine whether a current mode is a continuous current mode or a discontinuous current mode, and controlling one of the plurality of switches to be turned on or off as the determination result.
