    摘要: Unlike in the prior art in which the correspondence between a feature and a judgment value in an intended area is obtained by a single threshold value, the correspondence of the judgment value is obtained independently for each feature by use of a look-up table or the like. This makes it possible to achieve an accurate correspondence between the judgment value and the feature and thus to improve the high processing accuracy. Also, in the prior art, the judgment is repeated several times to secure the accuracy of the judgment and based on the total result thereof, the final judgment is made. Since the accuracy of each process is improved, however, the number of times the judgment is repeated is reduced for a higher processing speed.

A modified transition matrix for the Hungarian algorithm can be used to solve the association problem that considers not only initialization, termination and transition of tracklets but also false alarm hypotheses. A Bayesian inference approach can be used to automatically estimate a scene structure model as the high-level knowledge for the long-range trajectory association.

The system includes an object detector configured to determine a set of candidate objects in the image, a feature vector module configured to generate a set of feature vectors using the object detector to generate a feature vector for each candidate object in the set of candidate objects, a composite feature vector module to generate a set of composite feature vectors by combining each generated feature vector with a corresponding road or street description of the object in question, and an identifier module configured to identify objects of a particular type using a classifier that takes a set of composite feature vectors as input and returns a list of candidate objects that are classified as being of the particular type as output.

    摘要: A method for conducting a payment transaction using a smart wallet is proposed. The smart wallet accepts financial account information input by a consumer. The smart wallet stores the financial account information and transmits the financial account information to a smart wallet management server. When the consumer shops at a store, the smart wallet displays a list of merchandise purchased at the store and a total payment amount of the purchased merchandise. The smart wallet also provides a recommendation for making the payment amount. Finally, the smart wallet transmits a payment request to the smart wallet management server such that the payment is authorized and the payment transaction is completed. In one embodiment, the smart wallet can be used as a key to access shared mailboxes, resulting in significant improvement on package delivery operations for both couriers and consumers.

    摘要: A preprocessing section binarizes input image data and calculates a total black pixel ratio. A feature extracting section detects connected components included in the binary image data and detects circumscribing bounding boxes of the connected components. Predetermined connected components are removed from all of the connected components based on the sizes of the detected circumscribing bounding boxes and bounding box black pixel ratios. By using the connected components that remain after removing the unnecessary connected components, a histogram is generated by specifying the sizes of the circumscribing bounding boxes as classes and numbers of the connected components as the frequencies of occurrence. A determining section determines whether the input image data is document image data or non-document image data based on information related to the generated histogram and the total black pixel ratio.
