    摘要： A plurality of organic EL elements which are arranged on a display panel lowers the brightness along with a lapse of light emitting time and hence, the power consumption is increased to maintain the brightness. However, the increase of the power consumption shortens a lifetime of the organic EL elements. To overcome this drawback, a power supply circuit which drives the display panel has a function of controlling an electric power supplied to the display panel to a fixed value or less in response to a detection signal from a detection part which detects a cathode current of the organic EL elements.

    摘要： The present invention provides an organic EL display device which imparts the flexibility to the pull-around operation of lines. The organic EL display device is characterized in that the display device includes a display part and a display drive circuit which is formed on a periphery of the display part on a surface of a substrate, wherein the display part includes a plurality of pixels driven by the display drive circuit, each one of the pixels is formed of a stacked body which is constituted of at least one electrode, a light emitting layer and another electrode stacked from the substrate side, another electrodes of respective pixels are electrically connected in common, and a conductive layer which is formed on the same layer and is made of the same material as another electrodes is formed on a region other than the display region in a state that the conductive layer is electrically separated from another electrodes.

    摘要： An image display device capable of controlling in a differentiated manner the signal-brightness characteristics of natural pictures and those of different image sources, such as texts, in the screen frame is to be provided. The image display device is provided with a display area in which are arrayed a plurality of pixels each having a light-emitting device whose brightness is controlled with an image signal output voltage supplied from a signal voltage output circuit. The display area comprises first and second pixel groups of pixels connected to different drive voltage lines. The display area has a display characteristic that the first pixel group and the second pixel group are substantially equal in emission spectrum and differ in light emission brightness relative to the same image signal voltage supplied from the signal voltage output circuit.

    摘要： An image display is provided with a display area including pixels, each including illuminating means. A control circuit turns the illuminating means of the pixels on and off. A first terminal of a capacitor is connected to an input terminal of the control circuit. An image signal voltage generation circuit generates image signal voltages and a pixel drive voltage generation circuit generates pixel drive voltages for the pixels. A connector is provided for connecting either one of the image signal voltages or the pixel drive voltages to a second terminal of the capacitor. As such, an amount of drive current for the pixels is controlled in accordance with both the pixel drive voltage and the image signal voltage.
