Abstract: Accordingly, this disclosure describes systems, compositions, and methods that may use pelletized diverting agent particulates for diversion, fluid loss control, and/or other subterranean treatments for controlling fluid flow in subterranean formations. In an embodiment, a method comprising: introducing a treatment fluid into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation wherein the treatment fluid comprises: a base fluid; a pelletized diverting agent comprising a degradable polymer, wherein the pelletized diverting agent at least partially plugs a zone in the subterranean formation; and diverting at least a portion of the treatment fluid and/or a subsequently introduced fluid away from the zone. In an embodiment, a treatment fluid comprising: a base fluid; and a pelletized diverting agent comprising a degradable polymer.

Abstract: Methods and systems employing a flocculation polymer and microparticulates. The flocculation polymer flocculates the microparticulates to form micro-aggregates for use in forming complex fracture networks. Additionally, the flocculation causes the flocculation polymer to be removed from a treatment fluid due to its interaction with the microparticulates, thereby effectively cleaning the flocculation polymer from a subterranean formation. Individual microparticulates are synergistically used alone or in the presence of a de-aggregating agent to enhance complex fracture networks.

Abstract: Methods for treating subterranean formations by diverting treatment fluids therein are provided. In one embodiment, the methods comprise: introducing a first diverter material comprising polyvinyl alcohol and a plasticizer into or adjacent to a permeable zone of a subterranean formation; introducing a second diverter material into or adjacent to the permeable zone of the subterranean formation, wherein at least a portion of the first diverter material comprises particles larger than particles of the second diverter material; and allowing the first diverter material and the second diverter material to at least partially divert at least a portion of a treatment fluid to a different portion of the subterranean formation.

Abstract: Methods for inhibiting scale formation in a subterranean formation are provided. In some embodiments the present disclosure includes providing an organophosphorous compound including a phosphonoalkyl moiety; providing an acid component; mixing at least the organophosphorous compound including a phosphonoalkyl moiety and the acid component to form a treatment fluid; introducing the treatment fluid into at least a portion of a subterranean formation; contacting at least a portion of an acid-reactive substance disposed within the subterranean formation with the treatment fluid; forming a spent treatment fluid by allowing the acid component to at least partially spend against the portion of the acid-reactive surface; and allowing the spent treatment fluid to inhibit the formation of at least an amount of scale.
