摘要: A system includes a high-pressure static mixer. The system also includes a clean fluid system that provides clean fluid to the first high-pressure static mixer at a first fluid velocity and a proppant fluid system that provides a proppant concentrate to the first high-pressure static mixer at a second fluid velocity. Additionally, the system includes a wellhead in fluid communication with the first high-pressure static mixer. The wellhead receives a mixed fluid including the clean fluid and the proppant concentrate from the first high-pressure static mixer.

摘要: Chelating agents may be used to mitigate the presence of metal ions in a subterranean formation, thereby decreasing the likelihood of the metal ions forming damaging insoluble compounds within the subterranean formation. Methods for treating a subterranean formation can comprise: providing a treatment fluid comprising an aqueous carrier fluid and a chelating agent comprising hydroxyiminodisuccinic acid or any salt thereof; introducing the treatment fluid into a subterranean formation comprising a carbonate mineral; and complexing a metal ion in the subterranean formation with the chelating agent.

摘要: The rapid reaction of hydrofluoric acid with siliceous materials can make it difficult to increase the permeability of subterranean formations containing siliceous minerals. Methods for stimulating a subterranean formation can comprise: providing a latent hydrofluoric acid composition comprising a degradable matrix, and a hydrofluoric acid precursor dispersed in the degradable matrix; introducing a first treatment fluid containing the latent hydrofluoric acid composition in a non-dissolved form into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation comprising a siliceous material; differentially depositing the latent hydrofluoric acid composition upon a portion of the siliceous material in one or more locations; degrading at least a portion of the degradable matrix, thereby exposing at least a portion of the hydrofluoric acid precursor; converting the exposed hydrofluoric acid precursor into hydrofluoric acid; and reacting the hydrofluoric acid with the siliceous material where the latent hydrofluoric acid composition was deposited.

摘要: Methods including introducing a first treatment fluid comprising a first aqueous base fluid and a chelating etching agent into a low-permeability subterranean formation comprising carbonate material having a first fracture network at a first treatment interval therein, wherein the first fracture network comprises a first main fracture and a first microfracture. The method further comprises placing the chelating etching agent in the first fracture network and reacting it with the carbonate material in the first fracture network. In certain embodiments, the reacting removes the carbonate material, thereby creating at least one conductive channel on a face of the first fracture network. The method further comprises introducing a second treatment fluid comprising a second aqueous base fluid and micro-sized proppant particulates into the low-permeability subterranean formation and placing the micro-sized proppant particulates into the first fracture network to form a partial monolayer in the first microfracture.

摘要: Methods and compositions for treating a subterranean formation are provided. The method can include introducing a treatment fluid into the subterranean formation containing an aqueous downhole fluid. The treatment fluid can contain one or more polymers, a particulate additive containing one or more additives, and one or more organic solvents. The polymer is at least partially dissolved in the organic solvent and the particulate additive is at least partially suspended in the organic solvent. The method can also include combining the treatment fluid with the aqueous downhole fluid to produce a polymeric additive composite and a fluid mixture within the subterranean formation. The polymeric additive composite contains the particulate additive at least partially embedded in the polymer to prevent an uncontrolled release of the particulate additive into the fluid mixture.
