    Abstract: A system includes a generator. Three AC feeders are connected for feeding AC output from the generator. A rectifier is electrically connected to the three AC feeders and to a load via a first DC feeder and a second DC feeder. A first resistor connects between a the first DC feeder and ground. A second resistor connects between the second DC feeder and ground. At least one of a first current sensor is operatively connected to detect current in the first DC feeder and/or a second current sensor is operatively connected to detect current in the second DC feeder. A controller is configured to monitor for changes in common mode current based on the input from the at least one current sensor, and to determine presence of a fault if change in the common mode current exceeds a predetermined threshold.

    Abstract: Systems for power sharing coordination of parallel sources are provided. Aspects include a first DC power supply, a second DC power supply, a first generator controller configured to operate the first DC power source, a first current sensing device coupled between the first DC power supply and the common bus point, a second current sensing device coupled between the common bus point and a load, wherein the first generator controller is configured to receive a first current signal from the first current sensing device, receive a second current signal from the second current sensing device, determine a load share percentage for the first DC power supply, determine a first voltage adjustment based on the first current signal, the second current signal, and the load share percentage, and operate the first DC power supply to adjust a first voltage output by the first voltage adjustment.

Aspects include a direct current (DC) power supply comprising a generator and a rectifier circuit connected to a load, a first voltage sensing device coupled to a first point of regulation, a second voltage sensing device coupled to a second point of regulation, a generator controller configured to receive a first voltage signal from the first voltage sensing device, receive a second voltage signal from the second voltage sensing device, determine an adjustment for the generator, the adjustment comprising a transient performance response and a voltage droop response, wherein the transient performance response is determined based on the first voltage signal, and wherein the voltage droop response is determined based on the second voltage signal, and operate the generator based on the adjustment for the generator.

    Abstract: A generator system can include a first generator, a first controller operatively connected to the first generator to control a first generator voltage output, a second generator, and a second controller operatively connected to the second generator to control a second generator voltage output. The first generator and the second generator can be configured in a parallel generator configuration to share load power. The first controller and the second controller can be configured to provide foldback control. The first controller and the second controller can be configured to calibrate foldback to correct for current sharing imbalance between the first generator and the second generator.

    Abstract: A system and method is provided for controlling conversion of a received DC voltage (Vdc) into an AC inverter voltage. The method includes determining a reference Vpor (Vpor_REF) based on measured or estimated Vdc such that Vpor_REF is feasible at all values of Vdc for regulating a modulation index signal M_abc at a selectable frequency ω as a function of a measured or estimated voltage at the point of reference (Vpor), wherein M_abc is regulated by Vpor_REF to regulate the inverter hardware circuit to output the AC inverter voltage in order for Vpor to satisfy a requirement appropriate for the load.
