摘要： The present disclosure provides a video data storage system, an operation method thereof, and a retrieval server. The video data storage system according to present disclosure includes an index server and at least two storage servers for storing video data. The index server stores a first mapping relationship between a camera identification code and a storage server identification code. Each of the storage server stores a second mapping relationship among a camera identification code, a time range of video data and a physical location of video data in the storage server. The operation method includes: making, by the index server, statistics of an operation hot value of video data operated by all clients, and determining the operation hot value of the video data is greater than a predetermined first threshold; if yes, sending, by the index server, a backup instruction to at least one storage server, to instruct the storage server to back up the video data and update the second mapping relationship. The present disclosure can protect the hottest data using a minimum amount of capacity and bandwidth.

摘要： Disclosed are GPS-based target tracking system, method and dome camera. The system comprises: a first camera and a second camera. The first camera obtains GPS coordinate of a target during the tracking of the target and sends the GPS coordinates to the second camera. The second camera adjusts a shooting angle of the second camera according to the GPS coordinates, and tracks the target after detecting the target in a second monitoring image shot by the second camera. Therefore, in the scheme, if the target moves out of the monitoring range of the first camera, the second camera continues to track the target, namely the tracking range of the target is expanded through linkage of the plurality of cameras.

摘要： Embodiments of the present application disclose a video playback method and apparatus, which relate to the field of video communication technologies. The method includes: receiving a data obtaining request for a video to be played back sent by a client; estimating a current data transmission speed according to historical data transmission speeds; selecting a target video frame discarding scheme from preset video frame discarding schemes, according to the current data transmission speed and a theoretical data transmission speed corresponding to a preset video frame discarding scheme, wherein the theoretical data transmission speed is determined according to the multiplied speed for video playback; and performing discard processing on video data of the video to be played back according to the target video frame discarding scheme, and sending to the client the video data that has been subjected to the discard processing, so that the client plays back the video to be played back. The solutions provided by the embodiments of the present application reduces the required network bandwidth for a video playback.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for updating data for a distributed database system are disclosed. The method can recover the latest data in a distributed database system.
