Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a housing; a motor provided in the housing; a rotating shaft rotated by the motor; an orbital scroll orbital moved by the rotating shaft; a fixed scroll forming a compression chamber together with the orbital scroll; an injection flow path guiding an intermediate pressure refrigerant from an outside of the housing to the compression chamber; and an injection valve assembly opening and closing the injection flow path, wherein the injection valve assembly includes a cover plate having an inlet through which the intermediate pressure refrigerant is introduced, an injection valve opening and closing the inlet, and a valve plate having an outlet guiding the refrigerant that has passed through the injection valve toward the compression chamber. Thereby, an amount of refrigerant discharged from the compression chamber is increased, and thus the performance and efficiency of the compressor may be improved.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a compressor including a motor configured to generate a driving force, a compression mechanism driven by the motor to compress a refrigerant, an inverter configured to control the motor, a connector configured to electrically connect the motor and the inverter, and a sealing member configured to seal a motor terminal of the motor that is electrically connected to the connector. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent an electric leakage from occurring in the terminal of the motor by blocking introduction of a refrigerant into the motor terminal. It is possible to prevent separation of the connector and the coil from the motor terminal.

Abstract: A scroll compressor including a center housing; a front housing fastened to the center housing and forming a suction chamber; a rear housing fastened to the center housing and forming a compression mechanism accommodation space. Fixed scroll is in the compression mechanism accommodation space. An orbiting scroll interposes between the center housing and the fixed scroll forming a compression chamber together with the fixed scroll. Fixed scroll may include a fixed scroll end plate and a fixed scroll side plate protruded from outer circumferential portion of fixed scroll end plate, fastened to the center housing, and forming orbiting space of orbiting scroll. Outer circumferential portion of the center housing may be formed with an inflow hole for communicating with the suction chamber. Distal end surface of the fixed scroll side plate is formed with a suction port for guiding the refrigerant of the inflow hole to the compression chamber.

Abstract: A valve assembly forms a check valve for a scroll compressor including a fixed scroll having a pair of injection ports fluidly coupled to a compression mechanism. The valve assembly includes a valve body having a pair of flow paths with each of the flow paths fluidly coupled to a corresponding one of the injection ports. An injection plate has a pair of injection holes. A reed structure is disposed between the injection plate and the valve body with the reed structure including a pair of reeds. Each of the reeds is configured to selectively provide fluid communication between a corresponding one of the injection holes and a corresponding one of the injection ports. A valve gasket is disposed between the reed structure and the valve body and includes a pair of flaps with each of the flaps configured to selectively contact a corresponding one of the reeds.
