    摘要： A recirculation valve for use with a tankless water heater in a system that includes hot and cold water fixtures and a cold water supply. The recirculation valve includes a valve body having an inlet connection, a pair of outlet connections and an internal chamber; a thermostatic element that is disposed in a first portion of the internal chamber of the valve body and includes an actuation body that is responsive to water temperature; wherein the valve body further has a port opening that is disposed between the thermostatic element and a second portion of the internal chamber; wherein the thermostatic element further includes a piston constructed and arranged to operatively extend from said actuation body when the actuation body is heated, and a plunger that is carried by and is moveably responsive to the actuation body; and whereby, when the actuation body is heated, the valve transitions from an open position to a closed position by the piston moving the actuation body and plunger so that the plunger moves to seal against the port opening of the valve body.

    摘要： A bypass valve is for support between hot and cold water lines that connect to respective hot and cold fixtures. The bypass valve includes a valve body having an internal chamber, a hot water inlet port, a hot water outlet port and a discharge port; a bi-metal spring; a support member for mounting the bi-metal spring within the internal chamber of the valve body; and a shuttle mounted to the bi-metal spring and constructed and arranged to mate with the discharge port in a closed position of the bi-metal spring. The bi-metal spring assumes an open position to disengage from the discharge port at a predetermined water temperature to enable the hot water to discharge through the discharge port to the cold water line.

    摘要： A de-aerator apparatus for removing gas from fluid flowing through a pipe includes a housing having a chamber, an inlet connected to an inlet pipe for allowing the passage of fluid into the chamber, an outlet connected to an outlet pipe for discharging fluid from the chamber, and a vent for venting gas from the top of the chamber. The arrangement is such that as fluid flows into the chamber through the inlet and out of the chamber through the outlet, relatively large gas pockets present in the fluid in the chamber rise to the surface of the fluid and exit the chamber through the vent. A device disposed within the chamber has bristles facing the flow of fluid into the chamber through the inlet. The bristles vibrate for merging micro gas pockets present in the fluid with one another to produce large gas pockets which rise to the surface of the fluid within the chamber and exit the chamber through the vent.

    摘要： A water circulating system is for distributing instant hot water at a fixture that has respective hot and cold water inlets. The system includes hot and cold water piping, a pump constructed and arranged to pump water through said hot water piping. A by-pass device is provided at the sink area and connected directly between the hot water inlet and the cold water inlet. The by-pass device includes a pump for drawing hot water, a thermal switch, and a check valve. The pump, thermal switch, and check valve are constructed and arranged in series. A controller is connected to the pump so as to control the duty cycle of the pump so as to establish at least one of a selectable pump cycle time, and a selectable pump running time.
