    摘要: A method of and apparatus for measuring or measuring-out a predetermined volume of a liquid flowing through a conduit or line, comprising a first conduit section containing a measurement path and at one end connected with the outlet conduit of a connection element which interconnects a first inlet conduit and a second inlet conduit. The first conduit section is operatively connected at its other end through the agency of a first valve with the low pressure side of a pump device. The first inlet conduit is continuously connected with a liquid container via a second conduit section which causes a dynamic pressure drop in the flowing liquid. Additionally, the second inlet conduit is continuously connected with a fluid container and the fluid container is connected via a second valve with a compartment, whereas the liquid container is continuously connected with the compartment and the high pressure side of the pump device opens into said compartment.

    摘要: The injection syringe for injecting two liquids has a cylinder within which there are displaceably arranged in a liquid-tight fashion a piston as well as a separator piston member. The separator piston member divides the internal space of the cylinder into a first front compartment and a second rear compartment and is provided with a spacer rod arranged to be displaced in a liquid-tight fashion within a bore of the piston. Retaining or holder means ensure that the separator piston member maintains a constant spacing from the piston while the first liquid in the first front compartment is being ejected, whereas the separator piston member and the piston are displaceable relative to each other during ejection of the second liquid. The dual-liquid injection syringe is particularly utilized in computerized tomography for injecting a contrast medium and a flushing medium.

    摘要: An injection syringe is disclosed which comprises a cylinder equipped at one end with an attachment flange and at the other end, near to an outlet or discharge opening thereof, with a catheter connection. A piston member is insertable into the cylinder, and a container or receptacle is located between the piston member and the outlet or discharge opening. The container is provided with reference fracture locations and is freely displaceable within the cylinder in the lengthwise direction thereof. This container is filled with one of two liquids. After the ejection of the other liquid located within the cylinder externally of the container the container splits open and releases the injection the liquid contained therein. The injection syringe can be used, for instance, for the injection of a contrast agent followed by flushing with a physiological saline or salt solution, but also can be used in all other fields of application where it is desired to apply in timewise succession two liquids.

    摘要: A direct indicator device for determining the cardiac output according to the thermodilution method embodying two temperature sensors connected to the blood circulation for respectively determining the inlet- and dilution temperatures. A clock generator and a scaler connected at the output of the clock generator are provided, the scaler forming a control signal. A respective one of the sensors is connected in circuit with inputs of an associated temperature-pulse frequency converter, the outputs of which are connected with a respective input of a multiplexer. A control input of the multiplexer connected with the output of the scaler serves for the alternate switching-through of a signal from one input and from the other input of the multiplexer to the output thereof in time-dependent function of the control signal. A gate circuit has one input connected with the output of the multiplexer, another input connected with the output of the clock generator and a further input connected with the output of the scaler. The gate circuit has an output at which there appears the clock rate of the clock generator as a function of time on the one hand of the control signal and on the other hand of the signal at the output of the multiplexer, the output of the gate circuit being connected with the input of a counter. The output of the counter is connected with the input of an intermediate storage, and a control input of the counter and a control input of the intermediate storage are connected at the output of the scaler for the summation of the clock repetition rate delivered to the counter and for the storage thereof as a function of time of the control signal. A digital computer has connected therewith a digital indicator device, the computer having inputs connected respectively with the output of the intermediate storage, the output of the clock generator and the output of the scaler.
