摘要： Certain branched hydroxyalkyl polyoxylene glycol ethers exhibit excellent characteristics as defoamers or foam-suppressing additives or as foam regulators for aqueous media that contain foaming agents, even at temperatures of 25° C. and below. Therefore, said branched hydroxyalkyl polyoxylene glycol ethers can be used in detergents and cleaning agents.

摘要： Provided for are rinse aids that exhibit improved drying properties during automatic dish washing and thus allow cleaning methods at lower temperatures than customer reference agents. The rinse aids comprise a) at least one surfactant according to the general formula (I), where R1 is a saturated or unsaturated, branched or linear alkyl or alkenyl radical having 6 to 22 carbon atoms, R2 is hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a group R3, and R3 is a group A-(O—CH2CHR4—)m—OR5 and R4 and R5 independently from each other are a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and A is a (CH2)n— group or a hydroxyl alkyl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms and n is an integer from 1 to 6 and m is an integer or a fractional number from 1 to 10 and furthermore b) at least one hydrotrope, c) at least one organic hydroxycarboxylic acid and d) water.
