A serial transmission control system accesses data based on status signal, includes a timing register for storing a predetermined times of a basic period width and a predetermined number of trigger times, a data buffer for storing data, a timing control state machine for outputting the status signal until receiving a terminal signal. The status signals have a period width complying with the predetermined time of the basic period width. While the terminal signal is received and a number of outputting the status signals does not comply with the predetermined number of trigger times, the status signal will keep outputting until complying with the predetermined number of trigger times. A transforming circuit is for accessing the data stored in the data buffer.

The present invention provides a device and a method for enhancing the resolution of the digital signal of a digital encoder. The device comprises a digital encoder which outputs a fundamental position signal. Beside, the device comprises a selected integral circuit which receives the fundamental position signal to produce an integral signal according to a predetermined way, a reset circuit which resets the select integral circuit according to the fundamental position signal, a level shift and gain circuit which transforms and amplifies the level of the integral signal to produce a processing signal, and an analog-digital converter which receives the processing signal to produce an expanding position signal. In the device, the resolution of the expanding position signal is higher than the resolution of the fundamental position signal, so that it enhances the resolution of the digital signal of the digital encoder.

A method for printing an image on a printing medium with an inkjet printing device includes providing data representative of an original image, calculating a total heat weighting value for the original image to indicate a degree of heat accumulation for the original image, and comparing the total heat weighting value to R distinct reference values. The method also includes selecting M image masks to be used to mask the original image, wherein a value of M is chosen according to comparison results between the total heat weighting value and the R reference values; masking the original image with the M image masks to produce M sub-images; and printing the M sub-images successively on the printing medium with a plurality of nozzles for superimposing the M sub-images on the printing medium, whereby the original image is printed on the printing medium.

A method for printing data includes the following steps. First, an ink jet printer, having a print head with a black jet and a color jet, for printing a swath of data is provided. Then, the print head is driven to start to print the swath of data on one side of the ink jet printer. Next, the black jet and the color jet are alternately triggered to print corresponding pieces of black data and corresponding pieces of color data in the swath of data. Thereafter, the swath of data is completely printed when the print head is driven to the other side of ink jet printer.

Methods for detecting a short-circuit problem and an open-circuit problem in an ink jet printer. The ink jet printer includes at least an ink jet unit having an input end, a corresponding nozzle, and a control end. The ink jet printer further includes a driving circuit for providing energy to the ink jet unit via the input end. When the ink jet unit receives an ink jet signal via the control end, the ink jet unit can spray ink via the corresponding nozzle according to the energy received via the input end. The short-circuit problem detecting method includes stopping transmitting the ink jet signal to the control end of the ink jet unit, stopping providing energy to the input end of the ink jet unit, and measuring currents flowing through the input end of the ink jet unit.

The present invention provides a device and a method for enhancing the resolution of the digital signal of a digital encoder. A correction device having a first circuit generating a first processing signal composed of a first and second pulse signal according to a first and second phase signal produced by an encoder, a second circuit generating a second processing signal based on the position change variation of either the first or second phase signal, a third circuit generating a third processing signal based on the position change variation of either the first or second phase signal, a selector selecting one of the first, second, or third circuits according to the first processing signal. The present invention provides one of the first, second, or third processing signals to control the speed and position of motor of the inkjet printer.
