    摘要: Production of tertiary phosphine oxides which contain nitrile groups and correspond to the following general formula I: ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sub.2 each stand for a straight or branched, identical or different alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl or aralkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and in which R.sup.1 or R.sub.2 may be identical with R, which stands for a radical of the following general formula II: ##STR2## in which R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 each stand for a straight or branched, identical or different alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl or aralkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and/or hydrogen atoms. The tertiary phosphine oxides are made by reacting a phosphine of the following general formula III: ##STR3## in which R.sup.5 has the same meaning as R.sup.3 and R.sup.6 has the same meaning as R.sup.4 but is no hydrogen, with an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated nitrile of the following general formula IV: ##STR4## in which R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 have the meanings given above. The reaction is effected in a single stage in the presence of water or a water-solvent mixture and the above formula I compounds are separated from the reaction product.

    摘要: Alkyl phosphines of the general formula:R.sub.n PH.sub.3-n (I)are made. To this end hydrogen phosphide, a primary or a secondary phosphine is reacted with an alkylamine of the general formula:R.sub.n NH.sub.3-n (II)in a molar ratio of 0.1 to 10 mols of the alkylamine of formula II per mol of hydrogen phosphide or primary or secondary phosphine. The reaction is effected at a 150.degree. to 400.degree. C., at atmospheric pressure or a superatmospheric pressure up to 1 atmosphere gauge, and in contact with a catalyst comprising active carbon, copper (II) chromite, or one or more metals of Group Ib or VIII of the Periodic System of the elements. The starting materials are passed through a reaction zone at a rate which permits a contact time between them and the catalyst of 0.1 to 400 seconds.

The compounds are made from phosphines of general formula (III) ##STR3## in which R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 have the meanings given above, which are reacted in a single step operation with carbonyl compounds of general formula (IV) ##STR4## in which R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 equally have the meanings given above. The reaction is effected while adding at least one substance yielding hydroxyl ions and in the presence of water, and the resulting hydroxyalkylphosphine oxides are separated from the reaction product.

    摘要: Production of tertiary phosphine oxides of the general formula (I): ##STR1## in which the substituents R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, being identical or different, each stand for an alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl radical having from 1 to 18 carbon atoms. The phosphine oxides are made by splitting off formaldehyde and hydrogen halide at temperatures within the range about 150.degree. and 350.degree. C, in the presence of hydrogen halide, from a molten compound of the general formula (II): ##STR2## in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 have the meanings given above and X stands for halogen; separating the formaldehyde and hydrogen split off from the reaction mixture, and treating the resulting crude product so as to separate the compound of general formula (I) therefrom.

    摘要: The invention relates to a corrosion-inhibiting active pigment for use in the surface protection of iron and iron alloys. The pigment consists of a mixture of calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, magnesium hydrogen phosphate trihydrate and zinc oxide. More specifically, the mixture contains 2 to 98 weight % of ZnO and 98 to 2 weight % of phosphate components. These in turn contain 3 to 97 weight % of CaHPO.sub.4 .multidot.2 H.sub.2 O and 97 to 3 weight % of MgHPO.sub.4 .multidot.3 H.sub.2 O. The active pigment is suitable for use in painting compositions or lacquers.

C, under a pressure of up to 10 atmospheres gauge and for a period from 0.5 to 500 seconds over a catalyst and separating the resulting quaternary phosphonium halides from the reaction gas.The halides so made are used for making trialkylphosphine oxides and trialkylphosphines.
