    摘要: The disclosed embodiments detail improved methods for the synthesis of diketopiperazines from amino acids. In particular improved methods for the cyclocondensation and purification of N-protected 3,6-(aminoalkyl)-2,5-diketopiperazines from N-protected amino acids. Disclosed embodiments describe methods for the synthesis of 3,6-bis-[N-protected aminoalkyl]-2,5-diketopiperazine comprising heating a mixture of an amino acid in the presence of a catalyst in an organic solvent. The catalyst is selected from the group comprising sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, p-toluenesulfonic acid, 1-propylphosphonic acid cyclic anhydride, tributyl phosphate, phenyl phosphonic acid and phosphorous pentoxide among others. The solvent is selected from the group comprising: dimethylacetamide, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, diglyme, ethyl glyme, proglyme, ethyldiglyme, m-cresol, p-cresol, o-cresol, xylenes, ethylene glycol and phenol among others.

    摘要: To provide a process for producing a hydroxyalkyltriethylenediamine or hydroxytriethylenediamine simply and in a small number of steps without requiring multi-stage reaction steps; a novel catalyst composition whereby a polyurethane product can be obtained with good productivity and good moldability without bringing about odor problems or environmental problems; and a process for producing a polyurethane resin using the catalyst composition.For example, a hydroxyalkyltriethylenediamine or hydroxytriethylenediamine is produced by subjecting a mono-substituted dihydroxyalkylpiperazine and/or a di-substituted hydroxyalkylpiperazine to an intramolecular dehydration condensation reaction in the presence of an acid catalyst.Further, for example, a polyurethane resin is produced by using a catalyst composition which comprises a hydroxyalkyltriethylenediamine or hydroxytriethylenediamine (A), and an amine compound (B) having, in its molecule, one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy group, a primary amino group and a secondary amino group, or a tertiary amine compound (C) having a value of [blowing reaction rate constant/gelling reaction rate constant] of at least 0.5.

    摘要: The present invention pertains to a process for regenerating and rejuvenating an additive-based hydrotreating catalyst containing Group VIB and Group VIII hydrogenation metals. The process comprises the steps of regenerating the catalyst by contacting it with an oxygen-containing gas at a maximum temperature of 500null C., followed by rejuvenating the catalyst by contacting it with an organic additive comprising an organic compound, other than a compound that the catalyst is contacted with in the course of its use as a catalyst prior to regeneration and rejuvenation. The organic additive is incorporated into the catalyst. If necessary, the catalyst may then be dried at such a temperature that at least 50% of the additive is maintained in the catalyst. The process according to the invention makes it possible to restore the activity of a used additive-based hydrotreating catalyst to its original level, or even to improve it to above that level.
