摘要： A node of a wireless network transmits information to a user equipment over an aggregated carrier that includes a primary carrier having a first set of primary carrier time/frequency resources and a secondary carrier having a second set of secondary carrier time/frequency resources. Synchronization signals and/or reference symbols are transmitted to the user equipment on the secondary carrier less often than on the primary carrier. An indication of when and/or how often the synchronization signals and/or reference symbols will be transmitted to the user equipment on the secondary carrier may also be transmitted to the user equipment over the primary carrier. By transmitting synchronization signals and/or reference symbols to the user equipment on the secondary carrier less often than on the primary carrier, resources of the secondary carrier may be conserved, energy efficiency of the secondary carrier may be increased, and/or interference with other cells may be reduced or prevented.

摘要： A User Equipment, UE, supporting communication in a multicarrier radio communication system and a method therein for receiving information from a Radio Base Station, RBS, are provided. The method comprises determining 310 a bandwidth by which the UE will receive information, the bandwidth comprising a plurality of sub-carriers. The method also comprises adjusting 320 a bandwidth of the UE to correspond to the determined bandwidth by which the UE will receive information; and fine tuning 330 a local oscillator of the UE such that a centre frequency of a local oscillator does not coincide with a predetermined subcarrier transmitted from the RBS.

摘要： Devices and methods for transmitting information in resource blocks between a base station and one or more communication devices are disclosed. In each resource block (RB) used for a data or control channel transmission, a plurality of non-overlapping regions of resource elements (REs) are defined. Each region is associated with one or multiple unique reference symbols (RSs), and may be further associated with one or more antenna ports. When user equipment (UE) demodulates the information it receives in a particular region of an RB, it uses the RS and/or antenna port associated with that region. The RS and/or antenna port information may be used, for example, to estimate a channel of the communication network or to demodulate and decode the data contained within the associated regions.

摘要： Devices and methods for transmitting information in resource blocks between a base station and one or more communication devices are disclosed. In each resource block (RB) used for a data or control channel transmission, a plurality of non-overlapping regions of resource elements (REs) are defined. Each region is associated with one or multiple unique reference symbols (RSs). When user equipment (UE) demodulates the information it receives in a particular region of a resource block (RB), it uses the reference symbol (RS) associated with that region. The reference symbol (RS) information may be used, for example, to estimate a channel of the communication network or to demodulate and decode the data contained within the associated regions.

摘要： The invention relates to random access procedures in an LTE-system applying carrier aggregation, in particular to support network-initiated random access on secondary cells. A UE transmits a preamble on a random access channel to a radio base station on a secondary cell and receives or detects a random access response message from the base station including timing advance information for uplink transmission by the UE. The UE can determine the secondary cell that the control information in the random access response message refers to and transmits to the base station based on the timing advance information in the random access response message.

摘要： A radio base station (110) and a method in a radio base station (110) for scheduling a transmission to be transmitted between a user equipment (120) and the radio base station (110) are provided. Moreover, a user equipment (120) and a method in a user equipment (120) for obtaining information about the transmission are provided. The radio base station (110) operates an aggregated carrier in a subframe structure comprising a plurality of subframes. The aggregated carrier comprises a plurality of carriers. The radio base station (110) encodes information about a subframe out of said plurality of subframes and a carrier out of said plurality of carriers into a message indicating scheduling information to the user equipment (120). The radio base station (110) sends the message to the user equipment (120), which decodes the message to obtain the information about the transmission. The information about the transmission is indicative of the subframe and the carrier on which the transmission is scheduled.
